My favourite place to eat. Top quality food, best meals I've ever had... And the setting is brilliant. There is an outside area with tents, and a stage for music and pizza place. Inside there is also a little shop selling local goods and flowers. It's very cosy inside and staff are good.

Friendly service and delicious food!  We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Old Tatch today. The food was excellent I had the confit of pork with crackling, apple puree, rich gravy and veg. Definitely a kitchen with chefs who know how to cook. Recommended!

What a beautiful place both inside and out. It has a cute little shop inside you can buy jams flowers and other home made/grown items. We had Sunday lunch, and omg it was delicious and very plentiful. Staff were so nice and friendly too. Would definitely recommend.  X

We took over The Old Thatch for two days of filming for a local feature film production! The staff were so lovely, helpful, and accommodating. I cannot praise them highly enough for their support during the shoot. They provided catering, too, and the food was consistently phenomenal. Perfect idyllic pub, wonderful people and service, tasty food, what more could you want? Thanks so much! See you again in the future!

Busy dinnertime. Food was great but staff had many tables so were quite busy. Mushroom pie and vegan burger were great!

I love a good burger and this was okay. It didn’t scream amazing but didn’t scream bad. Average. Dessert took so long to come which was frustrating. A stunning location though for a pub.

Our favourite Roast Dinner around! We've been to The Old Thatch for roast dinner about 5 times now and it has never disappointed us! Delicious! We brought some friends with us today, sat next to the open fire and enjoyed a few hours chatting away in a lovely atmosphere with tasty food! The perfect way to spend a Sunday Afternoon. We'll definitely be back again and again! Looking forward to trying a breakfast and pizza in the summer time.

Me and my wife booked for Sunday lunch after hearing so many good reviews by friends. When we went it was very busy and we sat outside, I would agree with a few of the reviews on here that say service is slow but to be fair to them it was packed. We had two coffees with one trio of roast and one chicken roast. I have to say the food was amazing and a good size portion leaving no room pudding so we will definitely be returning to try more on the menu. Very nice place to relax and I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality of the food. Service is a little slow but dinner shouldn't be rushed on a Sunday!!

There were 10 of us including children looking for somewhere that could accommodate us last minute for a breakfast. The Old Thatch gave us a lovely table and the food was fantastic so compliments to the chef. I wanted to leave a special mention for Steve who served us. He was very helpful and so attentive. It's not easy taking orders from 10 people all asking for their eggs cooked in a different way, but he got it all correct. We will definitely be visiting again.

Good food, good staff and a great place to be. Not the cheapest… but you definitely get what you pay for. So if you are expecting Witherspoon prices…… this isn’t for you. An open fire and a pub that is obviously cared for. Definitely recommend you try here
