Lovely b&b upon arrival welcomed by staff and showed us our allocated key box and hot tub which was very nice.nnWe stayed in the toot suite. The room was large and airy, but could use some tlc. There was no booklet or information on how to use coffee machine and WiFi didn't work, the water took a while to heat up but the bed was nice and comfy and the hot tub although wasn't attached to our room only a walk across cobbles
We stayed here over Christmas. It was a good location for visiting family and they are nice rooms.nThere’s a few things that could really make this better though, and not major changes. Firstly the double mattress in the Barn Room has seen better days so a swap out there would really help - it was uncomfortable and my wife chose to sleep on the cot bed instead. Secondly the shower did tend to go a bit hot and cold for the second person using it - which wasn’t awful but just a bit frustrating. Finally - no fridge. We were there for three days and it’s a self contained room not a hotel. There was very generous tea and coffee and biscuits provided but nowhere for is to store anything cold. I am dairy free so the UHT milk provided wasn’t ok for me and my son wanted something soft to drink. A small fridge to put cold drinks in isn’t just a nice to have - I’d say it’s important for a set up like this.nHaving said all that - that’s hopefully just constructive criticism. These are nice rooms in a good spot for the local area and I would recommend them - especially with a few tweaks.
My Room was amazing and very modern. But unfortunately there were no ventilation, no A/C or windows that opened.
We stayed for one night in the Wood Store and it was a lovely evening. Very private hot tub and lovely location. The room was clean and comfortable. My only negative is that the door out to the hot tub area couldn't be opened fully due to a wardrobe/cupboard position and being of a slightly larger frame it was a bit of a squeeze to get out. Other than that, it was splendid.
Stayed in the Woodstore room for 2 nights. Massive hot tub and outdoor space, the room was comfy and cosy. Great location would highly recommend.
