Went today with a friend. What a wonderful find. The food was scrumptious and 2 courses for £10. Service was great too. Coffee and tea was nice. Very clean place. Won't hesitate in going back very soon.
This weekend we celebrated our friends 40th Birthday with a bottomless brunch. The Old Crown team were extremely helpful in making the afternoon a complete success. Our waitress Sharon was amazing and went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived Sharon helped us set up the tables, made fancy napkins and provided glasses for a toast ready for when our guest of honour arrived. The food was delicious, our glasses were refilled as soon as they were emptied. We handed the cake to Sharon and she completely took care of everything. A massive thank you to Sharon and the team at the Old Crown.
I think it’s important to inform everybody that this establishment is one not to miss.I have eaten in restaurants/Pubs throughout England and Europe and I can honestly say that the menu here is perfected to a high standard. I believe the food quality and menu ideas make an excellent meal and the prices are just unbeatable when It Comes to talking about a menu with this much class. I just want to thank the chef for making sure everything is cooked fresh and great feasting.I do have a special mention for the waitress Sharon who made sure we were met properly at the door and made us feel at home,she described the menu items to us and helped us with recommendations and she sure wasn’t wrong. She couldn’t do enough for us and brought some banter and some chat along with the experience,In my opinion the level of service she gave us I’m surprised she isn’t a supervisor and I do hope she is valued by this establishment. Thank you again and I will be back in October!!!
What a lovely pub with friendly staff . Great table service. Food was really tasty good homemade meal they really did go that little bit extra. Just before we paid our bill I was ask to check it specifically as they told me the till was playin up an there may be things on it that I hadn't had. How honest most places would have just taken the money. Would recommend to anyone family's welcome .

I've started attending this setting over the past month and last night had my first meal there. I must say this restaurant is very impressive. Good quality food and drinks and all staff are friendly and welcoming. Never any trouble and perfect family setting
Just had our Christmas meal there for work and it was amazing. Food was beautiful, staff couldn't do any more to help you if they tried, we would all definitely recommend this pub to everyone. We will be back xx
Amazing night had by all. Booked this for a surprise 30th for my partner. Had the upstairs private room hire. Pre booked meal for nearly 60 people everything was perfect from the start of planning to the end. Cannot thank the staff enough amazing all worked brilliant. Massive thank you to I believe Paul who worked the bar, speedy fast service Big thank you also so Andy who made sure the night went as smoothly as possible and him doing the DJ and disco and getting involved with the crowd too. Nothing was too much to ask. All in all 10/10 service. Will definitely recommend to everyone.
Met someone for lunch here as it was half way between us. It exceeded all my expectations. Tasty food quickly served. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Book a table to avoid disappointment!
We popped in on Sunday for dinner , family of five . Which was as always 10-10 hands down the best carvery and selection you can get . Would like to say a special mention to the lovely waitress Eve who was amazing with the kids and really looked after us . Will definitely be back soon Gaz and Family
