The Old Crown Pub serves a variety of American style food and voted one of London's best burger joints. We have DJ's on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 3am and the Old Crown's 'Lounge' and 'Top Floor' are both available for private hire.

Small little pub with standard beers on tap, pretty dead on a Friday afternoon. The River town IPA was too sweet for me and lacked the hop bitterness that I would expect in an IPA. Service was fine, indoor and outdoor seating.Service: 4/5
Didn't eat here hence the one star as we just popped in for a drink. Always nice to find and check out a new boozer and this one on the fringes of Bloomsbury doesn't disappoint. Friendly service and a nice selection of beers. The place was pretty busy for an early afternoon and had a varied mix of people including young families which is always a good sign. Definitely worth checking out.
Looking for liquid and sold refreshment after a long day on the old plates-of-meat at the British Museum. This was the first place we found that was not jam packed on this cold windy day in September 2024. The food was good though we didnt order a lot, the prices were reasonable, a great selection of drinks and the staff was super friendly. Additionally, it's a lovely, quirky and cozy little pub. The interior has some really interesting details for an otherwise traditional pub. Another point of interest, from our vantage point by the front windows we spotted the spire of St Georges Church, notable for its statue atop said spire. Caught our interest so we went to take a look after.
Such a nice pub with friendly vibes. The bathrooms are upstairs and clean, with multiple stalls, although one was out of TP and it wasn’t apparent if there were towels or dryers to dry hands. The food was good and the beer was good. They offered gluten free San Miguel beer. I’d give 5 stars if the service was more warm and friendly. Next time I’ll have to remember to take photos. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free San Miguel beer is on offer.
Karaoke room… expensive and absolute rubbish. Staff, especially owner… rude and obnoxious. Please don’t waste your money for any form of occasion at this establishment… Food was included as part of the package but on the evening… Kitchen was closed. If you want a dingy, dark, beer smelling pub, by all means, this is your type of pub.
Cool place near the British Museum. Traditional English cuisine. Good books for reading. Nice atmosphere.Food: 4/5
Had a great time watching the match with fun atmosphere. A good selection of drinks with friendly and helpful staff to help you navigate your way through. Food was decent, albeit we only tried the pizza and a portion of fries though I was really impressed by the staff asking what we did/didn’t like about anything and how it could be improved. The decor and ambience of the venue is what really stood out - you enjoy the venue by looking at the wall, layout and the way the place has been preserved as a pub. *Pet-friendly* Look forward to either passing through or organising a table for an evening out.
Bouncers incredibly rude and sexist towards women. Will be taking this complaint further as the outside staff verbally abused the females in my friend group for walking past. Give your money to a more worthy institution.Service: 1/5
We went as a group of colleagues. Fantastic experience. Really nice athomsphere. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. On our day chef called in sick, but they did manage to sort out food. Andrew was super supportive through the whole booking process. Highly highly recommendFood: 4/5
