It was okay! I feel like I expected more from this place. The food was just okay, service was hard. We walked in and were ignored for a bit before a guy behind the bar was super kind and offered to serve us. We were there for quite a long time just for lunch, I was hoping to be in and out much quicker than that
Delicious dinner and drinks, set in a tranquil setting on the banks of the river Spey. I had steak, banoffee cake, and a cheeseboard; all of which were exceptional. A really good drinks selection too.nThe service was very friendly and attentive, without being obtrusive.nThoroughly recommended, will definitely be returning.
I had an enjoyable dinner here on a Sunday evening. The menu is a good range of options vegetarian, fish, red meat. I loved the braised lamb shoulder accompanied by vegetables in a bed of celeriac purée. Very glad that I chose the cheese board. The three cheeses are wonderful especially the Howgate brie. The accompanying crackers are very fiery. The wine list has some good choices. I had the Languedoc Carrignan - rather pricey for a glass but it matches the lamb very nicely. Service is friendly.
Amazing food.nI had a ribeye and it was excellent.nItalian Primitivo wine also excellent.nColleagues very happy with their food too.
The steak was very expensive, however, it was amazing!!! The chips were soft and full of flavour, the steak was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious!
