We had such an amazing experience at The Old Bell Hotel! We actually arrived after realizing that I had accidentally booked a completely different hotel with a very similar name — The Old Bell Inn — so we showed up at The Old Bell Hotel with no reservation at all.nnThe staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. We explained what had happened and asked if they happened to have a standard room available. They immediately helped us get everything sorted, and to our surprise, they even upgraded us to the next room category completely complimentary. It was something they absolutely did not have to do, and it was such an incredibly thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated.nnEvery member of the staff we interacted with has been so lovely, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Aisha was so so kind! Our stay also included complimentary breakfast, which was such a wonderful bonus. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, and the entire experience has been fantastic from the moment we walked in.nnWhat started as a stressful mistake ended up being such a wonderful experience entirely because of how gracious and accommodating the staff were. We are so grateful and would absolutely recommend The Old Bell Hotel to anyone visiting Malmesbury. Truly exceptional hospitality!
Wonderful Stay in the Master Suiten​The Vibe: A truly unique boutique hotel. Staying in a room with a beautiful poster bed was a major highlight and incredibly relaxing.n​The Temperature: Amazing engineering for a Listed building—no AC, yet it remained comfortably cool inside during a massive heat wave.n​The Food: Breakfast was wonderful with a great selection of options.n​Summary: Highly recommended if you want a quiet, comfortable, and unique place to unwind.
What a great location and quirky hotel. If you want quiet but with access to a few select restaurants and pubs it's ideal. Gorgeous olde worlde area and right next to an amazing Abbey. River walk nearby. Loved the hotel and staff were just the right amount of attentive without being too much.
We had a lovely couple of nights celebrating my husband's 80th birthday. The food was delicious and the staff couldn't have been more attentive.nOur room was very comfortable but it was rather hot and the fans provided were not that efficient.
We had the most magical stay at The Old Bell Hotel. It is in a beautiful position within Malmesbury, the whole hotel is gorgeously decorated, and the food is exquisite. The people working in the restaurant and the hotel are also all super lovely - so friendly and warm. We will 100% be back.
