Excellent room hire. Good location, clean room, comfy bed, lots of tea and coffee, good shower, soft towels, warm room in winter. The host was friendly and prices very reasonable. Pub customers can be heard until late and might disturb light sleepers. I would still recommend to others.
Stayed here for over 2 weeks while I was working in Swindon. First room I had was an old hay loft conversion, it was a lovely room and very quiet as inbetween garden and car park. Second week was a couple of doors towards the pub and I might as well have shared a room with either side, couldn't sleep well all that week. Considering it is a real ale pub and I love real ale, after 13 nights 2 to go I left after only having had 2 pints in nearly 3 weeks very rude and aggressive landlady letting the side down
Nice friendly atmosphere with lots of local people. Live sports and darts board available. Smoking area out the back under cover with heat lamps and seating for those chilly evenings. Definitely competitively priced with the other pubs in Cricklade.
The landlord male versionin my experience,bearing in mind my partner and I have managed pub's. I found to be one of the most arrogant, ignorant and rude people I have ever had the displeasure of not being served by. As for the Landlady her pleasure is found from the vodka optics conveniently located at her disposal, but still no welcoming smile?

Reasonably priced accommodation right in the centre of bustling Cricklade. Get to sample the Isles on offer as the bar does not open until 5.00 pm. The room is very comfortable.
