Absolutely fabulous meal in really ambient surroundings.  Service was very good and portions were ample.  Very reasonable and good value for money.  Can't wait to come back!

Everything was fantastic! Originally had wanted to go to gro but due to the que we decided to try the niche and I'm very happy we did as we now have a new favourite in Irvine. Service was great from start to finish sat outside under cover as we had our dog with us. Food came very quickly was hot and fresh, great variety on the menu, tasted amazing and good size portions. Very happy and definitely will be back.  Parking: Parking on street busy Sunday and still loads of spots

If it’s about great customer service, then head on over to The Niche in Irvine. Great food, atmosphere and a fab friendly staff. It’s not too big so you ought to book in advance, but the tables are well spaced so there is a level of intimate dining to be had. It’s not too expensive and the open kitchen environment sends a message of fresh cooking to order. Plenty of on street and off street parking and after your meal you can wander along the quaint harbour side. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

Spectacular food & such cheerful, friendly, & accommodating staff!  We visited here 4 times over 1 weekend the service, cocktails & dishes were so good!  Thank you for looking after us fussy fishies! ‍

Visited the niche on a Tuesday for their 2 for 1 offer. We had the delicious boa buns and a drink. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. Would highly recommendFood: 5/5

Food was really lovely, however when given the bill I felt rushed to pay it as we were looking over it. The man was asking if we were ready to pay etc and standing at the table as we were still looking over it and calculating it up. Just felt a little rushed to get us to pay and leave. Turned out that the bill had the previous tables check on it so it was £60 more than it should have been and I'm very glad we did check it. Another girl came over and fixed it for us. The food and service was lovely but the bill was the only thing that really put me off but mistakes happen so I would definitely return.

The Niche was a fantastic restaurant for our family. Our family has multiple food allergies and we were able to eat here several times. They were understanding, patient, and knowledgeable about food allergies. The food was really good and the environment was fun.

We booked a table for 5 of us, lovely setting and meal. Unfortunately we asked to vacate the table as another booking was due. We should have booked for longer. We were there for almost 2 hours. We are 5 friends who live in different parts of Scotland and meet up every 3 - 4 months for a catch up. The issue was that we were given very little notice that we were to vacate the table and we had just ordered another bottle of wine, we took it with us. I would return to Niche as I  really like it, and would remember to ask for a longer booking. The swan was 2 doors down from Niche when I  arrived at 1pm. It was rescued by RSPB.

Stopped by for a light lunch on our recent visit to irvine beach, lucky to be allocated a table as the place was very busy. Staff very polite and helpful, we chose and shared the philly cheese steak wrap and tomatoe and cheese ciabata, both of which came with a small salad and tortilla chips. Very nice indeed, will be calling in again next time we are in the area.
