Simple no frills accommodation in a great location. The landlord was really friendly, breakfast was great and the pub served decent beer. Room was warm and the bed comfortable. Really good value too. Location was perfect with food close by and really close to Forest of Dean for Mountain Biking. Could have been a little cleaner.

One of the last old village pubs around, great prices and a cosy atmosphere that most pubs don't have. It's a very old building in need of some TLC but still very welcoming.

Nice pub full of character.
For those who stay over for b & b 
 the landlord provides a very nice breakfast.
The landlords cat is very friendly too.
Off the beaten track unfortunately but there are buses which can be caught just outside the pub to lydney and cinderford
