Heard great things about this place but bitterly disappointed. Ive given it 1 star because you have to give something, but 1 star is being very generous! I’ve never met a more rude person then the landlady (I think that’s who she was anyway?) she’s very lucky to get the business she does as she clearly doesn’t know what she’s doing!! After speaking to a lot of other people about my situation, they agreed with me and had the same opinion about the attitude of this women! Unbelievable behaviour from a women who as far as I’m aware runs quite a few pubs (how?) her staff are clearly not trained either?! Obviously not they’re fault. Just goes to show how she runs the place!! 10 people behind the but yet you’re waiting 10 minutes for one pint? The food is ok - that’s the best I can say but have heard from someone else that the Carvery is like eating leather. Can safely say I won’t be going back again. I’d rather burn my money! Save your self the trip and go elsewhere!!

Fantastic old pub run by a lovely local Irish family in South Ealing. Fantastic carvery on a Sunday for a reasonable price for the quality of roast received. Terrific selection of beers and fine ales Great Tuesday quiz and a lively Friday night with a live band.

Top marks for carvery on a sunday, such good value, food was smashing and good choice of meats, im not a big pork fan but it looked delicious and did not disappoint! Really quick, land lady was lovely and helped us get a seat even though they were super busy! Got there at 12.30 just before the massive rush, get in quick!

Went for a lunch Sunday roast, quality and quantity were great value. Would definitely recommend, but make sure to reserve a table in advance as it gets very packed.

A really nice pub. The couple who run the business are very welcoming. They have quite a large variety of food choices on the menu. They show sports, are very dog friendly (Oscar is the pub dog), and a nice selection of beers.
