Convenient carpark situated on the hill above Shaldon. Toilets available. Access to the beach via Smugglers Tunnel. Just a short walk down the hill into Shaldon

&5.10 all day. Big and open near the village of Shaldon and through a tunnel to a lovely beach

Ample car park at the top of the hill, toilets and a nearby gift shop and prices not too excessive. What more could you wish for in such a spot?

It's best positioned and it's £4 all day. Looking at the water side on the left are the shops and pubs/restaurant by walking 5 min. On the right you have just at the start a shop very useful, the public toilet, the tunnel, the zoo and if you go further there are very nice paths. At around 30 min walk we found a way with ropes we enjoyed so much! hehe, loved it! - does not have any sign we found it by mistake. Was harder coming up but will definetly go back! You might want to prepare yourself with some gloves. Worth any second spend around Torquay.

Struggled to make sense of the ticket machine, and I was not the only one! Not a very intuitive custexp. The car park is a regular spot when I'm in the area for the walks, through the tunnel to Ness Cove Beach, or along the road to Shaldon Beach.
