Struggled to make sense of the ticket machine, and I was not the only one! Not a very intuitive custexp. The car park is a regular spot when I'm in the area for the walks, through the tunnel to Ness Cove Beach, or along the road to Shaldon Beach.
What can I say it is a car park!!! However the views across the bay are fantastic. There are free toilets close by ,a good cafe a nice pub a small zoo. There is a good beach just a short walk down the hill. There is also another beach through a tunnel in the cliffs Although this is just another car park there is plenty of hood things very close by
It's best positioned and it's £4 all day. Looking at the water side on the left are the shops and pubs/restaurant by walking 5 min. On the right you have just at the start a shop very useful, the public toilet, the tunnel, the zoo and if you go further there are very nice paths. At around 30 min walk we found a way with ropes we enjoyed so much! hehe, loved it! - does not have any sign we found it by mistake. Was harder coming up but will definetly go back! You might want to prepare yourself with some gloves. Worth any second spend around Torquay.

Everywhere around Teignmouth and Shaldon was packed with people and cars. Good for the towns but not for us. There was not one space anywhere in car parks or along the Sea front in Teignmouth so we went to Shaldon. It was pretty much the same in Shaldon however at the top of their main car park there were three spaces only but what a view and we only needed one space. Just goes to show, Weekends by the sea is very popular especially with not everyone jetting off abroad. My advice as a local is that if you want to make use of convenient car parks for our Seaside areas you need to be up early, out early and parked by 09.30, after that you take pot luck and with extortionate fuel prices, driving around looking for a space only creates frustration and disappointment. Enjoy my County folks, take your litter home and behave yourselves, if you find places clean, leave them clean for others to Enjoy, Cheers!
Good location to walk down to Shaldon. Views overlooking the coast. Does Ringo so nice that you can extend the time if you wanted to stay for longer than originally planned.
Nice car park, toilets available right there, the car park is on the wonk a lot so remember this when getting out of the car.
Ample car park at the top of the hill, toilets and a nearby gift shop and prices not too excessive. What more could you wish for in such a spot?
It's the closest carpark to Ness Cove the locals beach. It uses the Ringo App for payment, and often has many spaces. It's on a hill, so might be tricky for people in wheelchairs.
