Good location in the middle of DL to go for a coffee or dessert. Kind waitress. Expensive prices for its food. Inside the cafe feels empty and a bit lifeless.
The desserts are so good. The coffee is okay as well. The only drawback is that the place wasn’t so clean. The tables and floor were dirty.
Loved this place. Very nice and cozy. The staff was great, very friendly and wow she was fast, a great barista. I got a nice sandwich with halloumi cheese and pesto, and a latte with oat milk. I had my laptop so I decided to answer a few emails and I found it a really nice place to do some work.
Not enough staff to clear tables or wash cups but coffee and food lovely aswell as the staff that were there
The only thing holding this place back is the wooden cutlery and the paper plates. It doesn’t fit the decor and atmosphere at all. The wooden cutlery is so blunt it doesn’t even cut cakes properly. Please please invest in some proper cutlery and plates and this place will become perfect
Poor customer service the ladies were quiet blunt and rude, standing there eating and licking their fingers with masks down. Asked for ice and they couldn’t give me any, asked where the toilets were she stiff there looking at me like I had ten heads then pointed, also serving customers with mask hanging off ear. The Americano was made with espresso then waterloosing crema also wasn’t asked if I wanted milk
I love visiting this coffee shop. All the staff are always soooo nice and very helpful, especially when I need a cake chosen for a special occasion. It has a nice variety of lunch choices and even has a vegan option which is great. Good selection of coffees too. I feel very safe eating inside, as all the staff have been extremely compliant with the HSE covid cert regulations, which I believe is very important as it shows the high standards of respect it has for their customers. There is also ample seating outside for customers and even has a large canopy to protect you from all the elements throughout the year.
Absolutely fabulous customer service. Violetta could not have been more helpful in arranging some gorgeous last minute treats under difficult circumstances to be delivered to my mother and her sisters in Dun Laoghaire. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and from start to finish she was warm, thoughtful and sympathetic. Excellent service and the cakes were by all accounts beautiful too! Thanks so much again, Violetta!
Good coffee, sausage rolls and delicious cakes.
