We are a small well stocked shop offering a friendly, first class service to a diverse range of customers. Whether you are local or a visitor to Nairn please come in and see for yourself what we have to offer. You will find us at the top of The Brae.

We do not have room for every title published but we are happy to order books (whether in print or not) and delivery usually takes one or two days. We can arrange for delivery worldwide. Orders may be made at the shop, by telephone or by email. If you are not sure of a title just ask us and we will do the necessary research.

We bought our son his own copy of The Snowman. Yes, we could have went online, Inverness or other places. But we wouldn’t have been welcomed, spoken to or treated the way we were here. Nairn Bookshop is is a perfect example of what the larger stores and most of all online shopping is totally missing. Friendly staff, helpful, knowledgeable and also not overbearing and allowing us time to browse.

Such a beautiful little bookshop. I always find a bookshop wherever I travel, and definitely had to visit this one. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. It's such a lovely, cosy store, beautiful selection and easy to navigate. A book lovers dream! If I ever return to Nairn, I'll be back.

Lovely book shop, great selection of Scottish books both fiction and non fiction. Good selection for kids.

This is an excellent book shop. It has a very good range of titles and they also have a very good range of stationery. If they do not have the book you are looking for they will order it and you can pick it up a couple of days later. There are not so many book shops these days so it is well worth supporting this one. The staff on duty are very helpful.

The classic independent bookshop with a great range of original books excellently presented. Many signed exclusives too which is cool. A lovely place you should give your money to when you want a book.

Small but with good varied stock of books. The lady helping we was friendly, polite and very helpful. Excellent shop!

What a wee gem of a place in the beautiful seaside town of Nairn, great selection of books and other cool stuff to buy. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable  I pop in every time I am up
