A little gem, very busy for Easter, impressed how they coped. Meal almost excellent but not quite. Meat would have been much better sliced thinly, it was not tender enough to serve in thick chunks. Disappointed with white chocolate cheesecake, as I like my cheesecake deep and creamy,  flavour of digestive biscuits overwhelmed .but sticky toffee pudding looked delicious.
Would go again but not for dessert, might opt job for starters next time.

What a great find. Lovely old pub with truly outstanding food, scallops cooked to perfection, mussels in a delicious sauce, beautiful slow cooked pork belly with wonderful black pudding mash and an incredible apple ketchup. There aren't many restaurants that serve food this good! Highly recommend it.

Chicken parfait was perfect as was the lamb shank. Vegetables beautifully cooked.  My wife had hummus followed by mussels and really enjoyed both although she struggled to eat it all due to generous portion size. Freah home cooked fries were delightful. Best meal out in a very long time and I worked for years as a chef! Good atmosphere good beer pleasant staff. Thoroughly recommend !

Me and my family had a meal and it was fantastic , really good cooking, lovely owners and a beautiful pub, we'll be back... hopefully our 2 year old will be better behaved next time 🤦‍♂️💆

Amazing place, stayed the night and the room was lush. The food here is impeccable and the staff are always happy to help you out.
