Story

The Bunch of Grapes is a friendly welcoming pub in the main high street of Newcastle Emlyn. The pub is a 17th Century building full of character and characters!
We have a sun trap garden to the rear and a 30seat restaurant. We cook homemade food from locally sourced products from 12-3 and 6-9 every day. (5 star hygiene rating).
We have Sky Sports and BT Sports on 4 big screen televisions.
We regularly host live music and open mic nights.

Only pub with food we could find open on a Monday. Quite busy and clearly popular with workmen/tradies. Good menu choices and service. 1 star removed as the bar area was busy and loud with unsuitable language for children.
Fantastic food and service.n1st time here and very impressed with our experience.nThe pub was busy for a Wednesday and still our food was with us within 15 mins, it was fresh and delicious. Did not taste like frozen food like some pubs serve.nStaff paid full attention to us even in busy times and asked if everything was okay.nI would highly recommend it.
My parents moved to Wales a couple of years ago and even though I've visited a few times we hadn't been to The Bunch of Grapes prior to today.nnI'm so glad I found a Gluten-free friendly pub to eat at within a short drive of their house. As newly diagnosed less than 6months it can still sometimes be stressful for me eating out, so I was very greatful they were so aware of my needs.nnThe staff and locals were friendly and welcoming and the pub had a lovely atmosphere. I will be back for sure.
Nice traditional pub at bottom of high streetnOutside seating out the front Bar area and back room and beer gardennHad food at lunchtime and had two burgers which were goodnCould do with a lunchtime printed menu as only found out after ordering they do paninis and light snacks at lunchtime but not listed on menunCould do with some specials in daytime as main menu was a bit overpricednAlso dog freindly and good jukebox a pub cat and freindly locals
Fabulous choice of menus here, even one for your 4 legged friends! Cosy log fire and board games for the winter months. Food served every day, helpful staff, friendly atmosphere and a pub cat!
