The food was great, really well presented and tasty, a little bit pricey for what you get. The service was very slow and the manager there was rude and created a bad atmosphere but it could just be a one off!
Excellent experience for my and my wife. The staff were very friendly and polite, food was amazing and well presented, generous portions and a calm atmosphere. Couldn't have asked for anything more really.
Really friendly people, lovely atmosphere. Wasn’t able to drink because I was driving whilst my friend was having cocktails… ordered a soft drink and was told ‘I made it as much like a cocktail as I could,’ see photo!
Very nice pub! Just recently moved in the area, and it's good to have such a place this close. Food is good, and there's pl9of space in the outside garden. We've been served by Timi and Larissa, super polite and friendly! Have a try!
I go to the Nags Head regularly the staff are starting to recognise me either with my partner or my family or friends because I always know the food won't disappoint and they have Peroni on tap which is the best beer in my opinion. I don't think a dish has disappointed me yet but if you want a food recommended I like the chicken or the pork belly with scallops or the dirty burger for a main and creme brulee for dessert or the sticky toffee pudding.
Lovley pub food was a great Sunday roast so tasty. Definitely go back again Parking: Plenty of parking.
We had a great night with fantastic service and wonderful food. We were looked after by Wendy who was absolutely brilliant and great fun and very patient with our rather noisy group!. Also… the gravy that comes with the dirty burgers was amazing… so much so that one of our party drank 3 pots full! We will be back for sure!
The roost was really tasty. and a good portion. However, the potatoes were not crispy, and the vegetables were a little bland. The Yorking pudding was definitely deformed, also bland.Recommended dishesVegetarian Roast
Nags head was very cold considering we sat by the open fire we ended up putting our coats back on food was fair nothing fantastic and the two Vegans in our party were very disappointed with there food particularly not being able to get chips that were Vegan pitza was Very dryFood: 2/5
We enjoyed our visit. It was a quite quiet Saturday late lunch for 6 of us as we had travel delays caused by a train strike! The bar area was quite full but we didn't hear them. We all enjoyed our food and drink. We had varied drinks, starters and mains and all chose different things; curry, salad, fish, lamb, pork. Worked out at around £35 per person. My only concern was we were sat near some double doors that were used to tend to a large alsatian, many times and leaving the door open caused a chilly breeze. Was that necessary? Vegetarian options: Minimal, as is usual, but there were choices. Kid-friendliness: No problem - there seemed to be a group with a few children in the bar area. Parking: Quite a reasonably sized garden. Wheelchair accessibility: From memory I don't think there was a problem here. Level pathways and floors I think. Dietary restrictions: As is now usual, we were asked, but we didn't have any restrictions.
