We had the lamb rump and the three cheese and mushroom pizza and it was absolutely gorgeous! Coming from a pregnant lady I could've eaten it over and over again. The service was lovely from entering to leaving. Felt very welcome and highly recommend to anyone.

Had a lovely trip to Sheffield from Brighton and came across this pub as it wasn't far from our hotel.  What a gem! Staff were amazing, everything was reasonably priced and the roast dinner was hands down the best I've ever had at a resturant/pub. Absolutely outstanding! I wish I didn't live so far away!

Had a meal today, fantastic. The burger was absolutely delicious. Staff were impeccable and service was great. Slightly more expensive than basic pub grub but worth every penny.

We visited for lunch and the food was fantastic.  All 3 courses were well presented, cooked well and served very promptly.  The waitress Nicole was very friendly and couldn't have been better. We will definitely return

Me and my son booked a table for Sunday lunch as a super rare treat!, we spent a lovely afternoon working up an appetite walking the dog in Eckington woods - so when we arrived in our outdoor gear we felt a little out of place. I was disappointed that when we arrived and I explained I had booked a table the manager just pointed to a free table and didn’t even give us a menu. My son had to go and find us one, despite everyone else being warmly greeted and shown to their table with menus.  Anyways, it was busy and the staff seemed quite stressed. We went ahead and ordered at the bar. I had the chicken roast and my not-so-little 11 year old ordered the dirty burger. He said it was the best burger he’s ever had! 10 out 10, and the kid has had a lot of burgers in his time! The roast was tasty, but I was a bit disappointed in the roasties because they looked amaaazing but were clearly old & tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave. They looked like such good roasties too, but the crisp was no longer crisp and more chewy like what you get when you’ve fridged and reheated a roastie. I wouldn’t mind but for the price of the roast I expected they would have been fresh on the day.  Other than that, it was lovely! Yorkshire was super tasty!  I would have mentioned this to a member of staff but after being served our food nobody came back to check on us anyways. Would definitely come back to try a burger myself as my son polished the whole plate!

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch here with my family. Really nicely done inside, quiet tables but still with atmosphere. Food was delicious, definitely the best Sunday roast I've had in ages, all high quality ingredients and really well cooked. Really good vegan selection of desserts to cater my a dairy allergy too. Our waitress was fantastic too, Charlotte,  bringing us extra gravy, laughing at my Dad's bad dad jokes and just super friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Another visit to Mossbrook, when we arrived their was no one to greet us, but eventually a lady showed us to our table, this person didn't seem too happy just stressed. She gave me an iPad because I'm gluten intolerant and I really couldn't understand it but then a waiter called Steve approached us and he was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way for me. The food was lovely and I really enjoyed it, we will be returning.  Parking: Plenty of parking spaces.

Gorgeous country pub which I was lucky to find thanks to the recommendation of my air bnb host. Cosy atmosphere with bar area next to an open fire, perfect to warm up on a winters day. The food is just as good! With great options available and cooked to perfection. I enjoyed it so much I ate here twice in a short midweek break. They also know how to make a good cocktail! Everything mixed to perfection. Would have been good to see a 2 for x deal on these though as it does get pricey full price.

The service was excellent. It was refreshing to walk into an establishment and be greeted by friendly and happy staff. The food was top notch, lovely starters, mains and desserts with a variety of different foods to choose from. The table service was fantastic from start to finish. All staff were friendly and helpful with anything we required. They were always on hand to top up our drinks and ask for our orders. The Mossbrook was lovely inside and out. We can't wait to come back during the summer to sit outside.

Not quite sure how I feel about this restaurant. Booked it for my wife's birthday a party of four. The staff and service were faultless, but food wise for me personally there was not a lot of choice of starters and non that appealed to me, so I went without. The same with the mains. Not being  a pasta lover, the only choice was steak or chicken burger, so steak it was and it was ordered with onion rings which arrived at the table as I was finishing my meal. To be honest I'd forgotten about them and in fairness I was not charged for them. The rest of the group were happy enough with their meals, so maybe it was just me and the ambiance and service saved the night.
