We went to the Prince of Wales for brunch on Sunday and it was lovely. The staff are really friendly, attentive and didn’t rush us even though it was getting a bit busy towards the end of our meal. There is a really good choice on the menu and they were really accommodating to some swaps on some of the dishes. Also a really decent price! Would recommend for brunch.
Second time I've been. It's so nice. Food is amazing, staff are wonderful. I can't say enough good things about it! It's worth the money and might be one of my new favourite places.Food: 5/5
Perfect place especially for outside dining now that the sun is out! The inside is also gorgeous by the way. They have a variety of things on the menu especially vegan options ! The squids were the best in Sheffield according to my partner and the chips were AMAZING! I would go back just for those haha! The customer service was exceptional!!! Everyone was lovely and really exceeded customer service!! Loved loved the nourish bowl it had many flavours and it was so refreshing ! Would highly recommend Vegetarian options: Many ! Parking: Free and large
Myself and my partner came for valentine's day and absolutely loved it. The food was beautiful particularly loved my Pork belly with scallops, soo much thought had gone into the presentation and condiments on the plate. Amazing atmosphere. Exited to return!
Last night we visited the Prince of Wales pub to celebrate my dad's birthday. We were all so hungry I forgot pictures of starters before we all dived in but can confirm, baked camembert, crispy squid and brie wedges with ginger chutney are all delicious we all shared. They have a great small plates menu with much more interesting things than a regular pub. For mains the 6 of us all either chose pork or steak! The belly pork had crispy crackling and was served with with dauphinoise potatoes, celariac and apple puree, pulled pork and cider bon bon, bordelaise sauce and seared scallops. I'm told it was delicious. The steaks were also very good , 2 of us ordered rib eye which came with chips or fries and also had an option to add scallops as surf and turf. We also had a bottle of pinot blush which was lovley . Puds were ok but didn't blow us away. Lost a star here as they were a bit average and Churros arrived black and burned. Can't wait to go back for the Sunday dinners , they do a trio of roasts that we have our eye on Overall we definitely reccomend for savoury food. And will be back for that roast soon ! Popped up on Sunday morning to sample the new brunch menu and wasn’t disappointed. Traditional Full English. Spot on. Great value and a great start to the day.
Speedy service, fantastic table 107, lovely staff and delicious food. Couldn't be better! Many thanks.
Nice atmosphere. Place was a little cold even though open fires were on. Food followed suit unfortunately as if it was sat for a while but was nice. Special instructions from online booking where ignored.
Ordered the trio of roasts which was incredible. However did call up and confirm they did vegan roasts in which they said they could accommodate for but what came out was appalling. A discount was taken off which was great service. Very pricey but nicely decorated
Brought my parents to this pub today for Saturday lunch and it was brilliant. I had been here many times for drinks and cocktails but never for food. We had a small dog, so had to sit in the bar area, but it was extremely satisfactory. Great vibe and the service is what you would expect. I really don’t write reviews that much but I went out of my way to post this here this evening. If you visit, you will have an amazing time. Many thanks The Price of Wales Pub Sheffield.
