Incredible food! The photos can't do it justice, but the taste was amazing. Loads of vegan options - the vegan duck is really tasty, as was the bread and dips. The staff were really friendly despite being very busy, and the iced coffees were perfect on a hot day. The position with the sea view was just gorgeous, and the bathrooms were Very clean. The best thing about Birchigton Vegetarian options: Loads of veggie and vegan options Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids about and kid friendly wait staff Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp accessible ground floor opening Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan options
The food was beautiful and well presented! Lovely atmosphere, cosy and calm with excellent service! Only thing I could ask for is more veggie options as they seem limited for the dinner menu. 100% will be back againFood: 5/5
Really lovely delicious food. Main courses tended more towards meat dishes so had two starters instead, which was plenty. Service really good and lovely sunset views.Food: 5/5
Booked in advance for a Sunday lunchtime and requested a table outside. There were a few spots of rain late morning, and when we arrived they had kept a table both inside and outside for us. Service was very good and the food was yummy. Simple but well executed menu, and a great spot right by the water. Book in advance to avoid disappointment some people were turned away for food when we were there - a Sunday lunchtime - because they didn’t have a booking. I’d definitely go back again if in the area!
Stunning place, beautiful setting, incredibly clean pub on the sea front, lovely staff and probably one of the best meals I've eaten in many years. Love it absolutely a must on the tick list if going to birchington.Food: 5/5
Brought the grand children and had a wonderful lunch good food and lots of room with a large table outside enjoy the drinks and ocean views the staff was helpful and courteous and smiling Vegetarian options: chips Kid-friendliness: High chairs and Rooney tables outside room ocean views Parking: What's the parking in a parking yard and on side Street Wheelchair accessibility: I used to Rolling Walker and went up two steps with a very good reeling also there is a wheelchair ramp good for beach wagons baby strollers
Great location for a meal at sun down. Fish and chip dinner was perfectly cooked and presented. Some confusion on ordering at the bar but we did not have a booking and was still accomodated. Parking: Parking was on the sea front and I could see my car from the front of the restaurant where we sat. This way in the evening.
Fabulous location overlooking the bay. Food looked lovely although we didn't dine. Very busy all day Sunday during heatwave Parking: Big car park next door and lots of free on street parking Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
A bit expensive, but would expect that especially where its located. Food was very tasty, burgers are very good. Staff where pleasent. Would eat there again.
Would not recommend!!! We had the afternoon tea. The service was terrible and the actual cakes and sandwiches is what saved it. When we arrived our table wasn’t set.The waitress didn’t know the tea selection offering. She didn’t write down our order so didn’t bring out the correct teas. Even when we ordered a refill still brought out the wrong teas. They didn’t bring out teaspoons so we couldn’t stir our tea. When we did ask for our teaspoons the waiter just handed it to my guest instead of placing it on the table. Just not great for a celebration that was booked and paid for weeks in advance. Would not recommend!!!!!
