Our Christmas lunch was excellent! Turkey deliciously cooked, as well as the Brussels! Plenty to eat and loved the Christmas pud with brandy sauce.....it was light and fruity - perfect! A huge thank you to Daniel and Ffion for their hospitality; they went out of their way to ensure we had a proper Christmassy lunch; as we'd provided a few days notice they were more than happy to cater for just 3 of us. Thanks again for making it special! Happy Christmas you two
Food was really good pub grub, great selection of drinks, super attentive owners, really accommodating and knowledgeable. The place had been done up to a nice standard. No children's menu but they made our boys a kids version of the burger and hot dog. We went at 3pm on a Wednesday during February and were the only ones there for the whole meal so being fair couldn't really comment on the atmosphere but there was a pool table that wasn't quite finished being put together and a dart board etc. Think it'd be great for the campsite in the summer. A little pricey as £100 for 2 adult meals, 2 children's meals, 3 cokes, 2 local ales and a bottle of wine as the sauvignon isn't sold by the glass. We would definitely go back though

Had a takeaway meal from the Mill last evening My steak was superb and the only slight down was the soggy fries but it was a takeout Will be back today for lunch so lets see if they can keep it up Parking: 10 to 15 places
Hmm....where do I start. The camping/caravan site is immaculate. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The Mill on the other hand does not meet the same expectations. Food is adequate. The pizza oven used to produce amazing pizzas...I have photos from a year ago. Now...thin, sparsely covered pizzas cooked indoors for the same price..underwhelming is an understatement. It's very quiet...maybe they know something we don't... there is a back door that gives you very quick convenient access to the toilets...but unless it's worth their while they keep it closed forcing everyone to walk all the way around the pub, then up the stairs..passed everyone 'enjoying' their food, to use the single gents and ladies toilet... This place could be amazing..the food is decent, it really is..but there is a palpable lack of attention to detail and a lack of appreciation thar this pubs captive audience literally lives on site. ‍
Stopped for a quick cider after a little rambling. Staff were very friendly and the pub very cosy and done up with attention to detail.
We stayed on the campsite next door, lovely place. On the Saturday lunchtime we went to the Mill for a drink and to book a table for the evening. As it was my wife's birthday, I asked the landlord if he could rustle something up for her, like a cake or such like. He said he was flat out and at such short notice he didn't think so. So, we went for our evening meal and it was absolutely amazing. Great quality and far too much for even me to eat!! After our meal, the landlord and his wife came up the stairs with a beautiful chocolate cake singing happy birthday. What a surprise, the cake was fantastic with candles and everything. We were completely blown away that he'd gone to all that trouble just for a cake that he made that very afternoon. I didn't get their names but I just want to thank the husband and wife team at The Mill Pub for making my wife's birthday meal extra special. Thanks guys, we'll be back sometime soon. Anybody wanting to go to The Mill Pub, don't think about it, DO IT, the food and staff are incredible. 10/10 from us.
Stayed in our tourer over the weekend and booked table for 4 for evening meal. Was pleasantly surprised! In my experience some on-site restaurants can be less than impressive! Service was good. Food was excellent, if a little on the large size! Room was extremely hot but the UK is experiencing a heat wave so they did what they could! Tried the guest cocktail too. Pricing is just right.
Friendly, warm atmosphere, not enough staff. But needs a better menu to make it 5 stars.Food: 4/5
The food was excellent and the home made bread was was really nice. Reasonably priced as well. Thanks. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian and vegan options
