Food was good, though very little to my taste. Great atmosphere. Can recommend if the menu is to your liking.

Nice family friendly pub for eating at. Large indoor and outdoor seating area (although like most places the smokers sit outside) Friendly staff and were willing to make alterations to the kids menu to accommodate our sons requirements. Good choice of food at a reasonable price

Very tasty food which is fine for the price, but not as cheap as others offering similar quality. Worth it for the friendly staff, and clean, welcoming venue and all-round experience.

Food was beautiful service was amazing had a very friendly waiter but not to intrusive. The log fires and the rustic interior just makes it cosy. Price was very reasonable love having the time to just relax and enjoy a good catch up

We booked a table for 7 people here last night for my mum's birthday.  The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming  (perfect venue for cosy meals), the decor is just amazing and we always feel comfortable here. 
Chris was our waiter and he was wonderful, so attentive, nothing was a problem and he was happy to stop and chat with us in between running around for other customers. Everyone enjoyed their food and I loved my vegetarian tart, it was the best vegetarian meal that I've ever had in a restaurant.  Thank you again to all the staff at the Melville, it was the perfect end to a lovely day.
