This is really a nice place. We arrived quite late and the staff told us to quickly submit the orders before the kitchen closes. So thankfully, we sent our orders quickly. There are a few hits and misses with the food. The kids meal sausages were burnt and missing peas. The chicken burger was a bit dry. Know sauce would be good. The steak was chewy and lack sauce.nChicken tikka was good
I booked a wee corner of the restaurant for my daughter's surprise 21st birthday. We also ordered the buffet for 30 and ,oh my word, the amount of food you get for your money is amazing! Everything was so good, and made fresh for us on the day, and the staff were so accommodating and friendly to all my guests. I would definitely recommend this place if you are having a get together, we had such a good time.
Huge pub and yet, many times full. reservations are advised if you would like to avoid trying finding a spare table. The food is actually really good, restaurant grade, although the portions are a bit small. there will be music and people tend to be quite drunk like in any pub where drinks are quite cheap. If you are not a crisps drinker and rather eat something tasty with your alcohol, this is your place.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, but the real stars of the show were the beer-battered mushrooms. they were the perfect way to kick off the meal. Then came the sausage and mash, a comforting classic. The sausages were flavorful and perfectly cooked, creamy mashed potatoes. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the service. Harry and Di were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed with a genuine smile. Their warmth added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already fantastic meal.
My partner and i we went for Lunch date today, and we both really enjoyed our meals. Lovely atmosphere, Good service, Food was great.nnFor our STARTERS we had the battered mushrooms and Sweet Chilli Chicken Wings. The best chilli chicken wings i ever had.nnThen for our MAINCOURSE we both had the Mixed Grill was good too.nnDESSERTS - we have Creme Brulee and Sticky Toffee Pudding, both was delicious.nnWe back home very fullnnProbably we’re coming back again soon to try the others menu.nnHighly recommended this place
