Chips were hard, had a funny taste and were saturated in grease.
The staff smelt the chips three times before deeming them okay to serve..
One of our portion of chips had a large piece of metal in it.

So sorry to have to say but I have lost faith in “The Meal Machines” quality of food. I have been a regular customer of this outlet since it first opened but sadly my last two meals have been a total waste of money to say the least.On both visits I asked for the same order, with the same results. I asked for a fish supper and a single fish, both well done and a portion of curry sauce.
The service was so slow, more interested in chit chat than service,the fish batter was far too thick and undercooked, wasted, the chips greasy and despite the waitress calling out the order correctly  there was NO curry sauce(only discovered when I got home),too late to go back.All in all not the lovely crispy fish an chips offered in the past and to the quality one expects, sorry ladies but for me things need to improve considerably before I’ll be back.

Stoped for lunch today ...I have never eaten anything as disgusting in my life ..rotten chips ..chicken sour to the taste cold peas and greasy cold curry saucr..could throw up writein this ..1 bite done me. .save ur money folks ..it's a bad bad bad place to spend ur hard earned cash

Usually an average chippy but after tonight I won't be setting foot in it again. Chips were hard/uncooked. Disgusted.
