I had an afternoon drink here with my wife and we both enjoyed the drink and company so we booked for dinner that evening. The food was freshly made and tasty and served promptly. Prices were very reasonable. The staff were all friendly and chatty. Also dog friendly. Recommended.

I was worried that with all the guidebooks references this place would be a tourist trap, but not at all. This was perhaps the most memorable meal in Scotland that i had. The food is amazing and the service is really friendly. I loved their whisky book which details the selection along with a notes page on each whisky and alternative suggestions. Very complete.
