Our server Andrew was amazing. A constant smile and willing to help in any way. 2nd time we’ve had him and both times he’s just made us feel so accommodated. He talks to us and cracks a few jokes. The atmosphere is wonderful. When entering we were sat down by a female worker who didn’t bother to look at our requests which did annoy us but overall very happy

Food was good and good portion size. I was greeted by Jade who was clearly extremely busy but was able to assist me with answering any queries I had. There was a big queue but it moved quite swiftly. Food was good, good range of meats etc. Would go again  Only thing was it was quite pricey but I would say that it was due to it being a Sunday.

We’ve been coming in to this carvery for years.. I’ve never had any issues with eating here.. food’s always great.. plentiful, tasty and well presented.. Tina’s lovely.. polite and attentive and always gives great service. Would really recommend.. 5/5

Food hot and delicious  Staff warm and friendly, such a lovely atmosphere. This was mid week and I can imagine this place gets packed on the weekends.ovely position right on the sea front. If I lived here I would definitely be having dinners in there regularly. Prices so reasonable. Well done guys. Highly recommend this place.  Parking: Staff put your registration in the inside machine so parking is free if you eat there  Dietary restrictions: Saw vegan food there too

Our waitress was so smiley and happy. She knew her job and made us feel very welcome. The only thing I want to say is that I wish that the vegetables weren't hard. Apart from that you are amazing. Thank you  Parking: Convenient free parking

Our waiter Andrew was great . Polite , friendly and really great with us he made us smile ... really great service from andrew who Made us feel welcome ... made for a lovely dining experience.  Can't speak highly enough of him . All the staff were great and it created a lovely atmosphere. The food was spot on and will definitely be returning

We come to the Clacton Carvery every Sunday for lunch. We love it there. The management are so warm and welcoming and the staff are FAB we’ve got to know them all including the food servers. They’ll all go the extra mile for you. They are happy in their jobs and it shows. It keeps us coming back every week since long before lockdown. Please don’t change anything at all as in our opinion it just couldn’t get any better.  Parking: Plenty of parking - no charge if you put your VRN in the machine inside

Dined here recently on two occasions, the carvery was tasty and hot, portions of meat could be improved as it feels that on both occasions the serving chef was dishing out the scraps rather than fresh cuts of meat for each customer. Overall a good experience, atmosphere is typical Cavery.Food: 4/5

The staff member called Andrew helped my Disabled son and my blind friend with taking the food to the table he was such a helpful man and I couldn't have been more happier with his service towards myself and my family I would like to pass a massive thank you to Andrew for making us feel very welcome to the restaurant. We travelled all the way from London just to come to the Toby carvery and I can't describe how proud I was of his help

The gentleman who served us has served us on this visit and previous occasions when coming here. Always so friendly and welcoming we are always happy when we know he is going to be the one to serve us.
