Great beers, fantastic gin selection, top quality burger and the most amazing Sunday roast. Mark and the team are great, so good to have the pub open again and looking so beautiful
Very welcoming fantastic food 2nd visit had Sunday lunch beef was so tender and plenty of it desert was gorgeous prices were very fair 5 of us had no complaints at all wished it was in southend
Lovely modern pub, plenty of parking, had quick lunch had BLT with fries and salad £9 good price and portions , fish finger sandwiches were battered fish goujons, so fresh and crisp. Staff very friendly and efficient
Me and my partner stumbled across the Kings Arms whilst on holiday. The manager and team were happy to accommodate us despite arriving a little before opening time on Easter Sunday without a booking. We stayed for drinks and food. The food was top notch, particularly the fish and chips. We could not recommend the pub enough, a stylish interior with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again.
Meal for three on 21st July 22. Absolutely awesome welcome with bags of personality. Food - they are obviously hiding a Michelin chef in the kitchen. Staff willing to go the extra mile for a birthday without being asked to do so. Very reasonably priced too. Was chatting about the impact of “covid” with the staff - sad to see it more or less empty. If you’re living in the area or just visiting, it’s so important to support great hospitality establishments such as this one. Get yourself in for a drink or some fine-dining. You won’t be disappointed
Just the best Sunday roast ever! Beautifully cooked and plenty of it. Dessert was delicious too. Can’t wait to try the starters next time. A great chef makes a great pub. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who enjoys good British food at its best.
Taken here by some friends. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Food was delicious and portions very generous. I had lamb rump with cous cous and roasted vegetables which was divine. Hope to visit again
We had an early evening meal at The Kings Arms 20 July 2021 whilst staying in St Osyth. The owner of the holiday cottage recommended this pub and after looking at the menu online we booked a table, making sure they were dog friendly which they are in the gardenfortunately it was a dry evening. We really enjoyed the meal, sharing a homemade scotch egg for a starter, followed by the burger for my husband and the fish in curry sauce for me- all delicious! For dessert I had the panacotta which was so good. Friendly service too, so 5 stars from us. Would go again if we’re ever back in the area.
A great pub for food or a quick drink! I have been to the Kings Arms a couple of times since it reopened. I have gluten and dairy intolerance which can make eating out difficult. The staff were brilliant and managed to sort me out some great food with no fuss. They also have gluten free beer which is worth 5 stars on its own. Highly recommended and I will be going back soon.
My boyfriend and I had the most amazing meal here on a Saturday afternoon - the food was delicious, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and they made a great cocktail! We have already booked to come here again. Highly recommended!
