Been today for a quick lunch. Had spinach pie and mixed grill. Nice surrounding, not too busy and owner very friendly. Food arrived in good time. Very tasty, meat was cooked well, flavoursome and juicy. Will be back again.
Absolute terrible. Stone cold to start. The kebab and unknown deep fried sausage were inedible. The chicken was a really strange texture and again inedible. The chips were stone cold and hard so again inedible. The halloumi would've been OK if it was still warm. An absolutely waste of time and money! No chance would I recommend this place nor will I be going back. 90% of it went in the bin.
Very average. Ordered the mixed souvlaki to take away. Chicken very good, juicy, tender, tasty, well seasoned. With a lovely roasted pepper. Caramelised and sweet. So far so good. Unfortunately the pork was very chewy and tasted odd. Not good. Then the chips were not even fully cooked. Raw potato taste is not what we’re looking for. Poor chips - in Yorkshire - really not good… Overall, can’t recommend I’m afraid.
Quick lunch with my Ms and two daughters. We had portions of chicken gyros and it was delicious as always. Very friendly lady served us today and we really enjoyed it. Reading so many bad reviews of some people here, absolute nonsense, I decided to allow a bit of my time and finally submit the review. Food is delicious. Greek beer and spirits you can have here. If you don't like it, don't come - simple. Thank you Mad Greek one more time. See you soon
Drove all the way here. Closed ! Looks like it’s closed permanently. Mail visible through door. Leaves on outside patio. General air of abandonment.
Shocked this has been on our doorstep all this time and we hadn't tried it. Gyros was reminiscent of being on holiday in Greece, nice bloke serving us and great value for money. We'll be back.
Had chicken Souvlaki and it was absolutely incredible! Some of the best Greek food I've ever had. So tasty and came with lovely pitta bread, roasted peppers and veg, chips and tzatziki. It came a little late but I rang and the person I spoke to was very apologetic and said he had run out of souvlaki but it would be with us soon. He sent us some free drinks to compensate and the food was so good it was worth the wait!
Amazing pita gyros, most authentic I've had since being in Greece!
Ordered 4 gyros tonight. Came without pitta. Meat very salty. Just loads of kebab meat and chips in a polystyrene tray for £9.50 a portion. Very disappointing. Rang to let them know. They said they'd send some starters, although no good really after eating a pile of meat and chips! The starters never arrived. Won't be repeating the experience.
Awful place. Order came 1hr 40mins late, was cold. Grilled meat was not as advertised. When we called the restaurant to discuss a refund they were aggressive, accused us of lying, and requested we return the food! Which we did, as it was freezing cold and not as advertised. What was meant to be a nice Friday treat turned into an absolute pain.
