Such a great venue, so accommodating when we have reserved tables and there are people on there! Lovely staff willing to go out of their way to improve our night every week 10/10
Lovely pub, good atmosphere especially on a Wednesday, great service and two pool tables. Will definitely be going again.
Good food, good drinks, not too expensive by today's standards. There's a student room and a locals room, so if you identify as one or the other, there is a space for you.

The Macky, this place is the absolute pinnacle of student life in Cathays. Laura and her amazing team make anyone and everyone feel welcome in my second home. Make sure you get down for the quiz on Thursdays from September, Tom, Danny and James will be pouring some stupendous pints and offering some unbeatable chat. Couldn't recommend enough - quite simply a must if you're in the area. Love you all xxx
Amazing pub for a chilled drink or for a bigger night out. Staff or always lovely and quick to service. A special thank you to Laura, Liam and Izzy for making my visits awesome. Pub Quiz is always good on a Thursday with Nathan brining comedy and good causes to the events. One thing I will say Richard needs some more training.
Only been once full of students but was a good night enjoyed it and would go back
Lovely local pub in Cathays. Very good value beer and loads of screens for the football and rugby. Recommended
