1 food came out cold, when they said there would be 40min wait as they were busy, understandable, but having cold food arrive, how does that work? Did it spend 20 mins sitting on the side? 2 when asked to be reheated it took another 20mins before we got it back. 3 I only got 3 onion rings with my mixed grill when the menu said 6 4 beans with the jacket potato was about 2 teaspoons worth and the cheese was about the same, pretty much just a potato Not a happy customer in the slightest.
Usually enjoy my experience here but today was below par. Waiter knocked over my glass of wine, said sorry but no offer to replenish or mop up table.. Yes it's busy, yes it's cheap but you do expect a little courtesy. Also had to ask for table to be wiped when we arrived. Get the basics right and you will keep your customers happy. Come on Wetherspoons..
Popped in for a late lunch on Saturday. It was really buzzing with people in a nice way. Had a couple of jacet potatoes and a cup if tea which was very nice and reasonably priced too. The bar staff were very accommodating. I'll go again.
Great experience at this pub last week. Popped in for a drink after walking around the town, and then ended up having a few more and dinner too! Food and drink is such good value for money, and quick friendly service!
Longer wait for food than usual in a spoons but certainly NOT the fault of the staff who were working their socks off. Decent sausage and mash. Price veery fair as always.
Friday 7th April 2023 I visited this lovely weatherspoon today Great range of real ales on great priced hand pumped ale Good staff clean premises The weirdest thing though this pub still people as with covid queue to be served
Breakfast is good especially value for money, table service is quick if you're using the app. Great food and drink for the price.
Door staff friendly, was busy as it's a Friday night. Tried to order on the app but it crashed twice eventually my partner went to the bar. Staff are polite, but when bringing meals out didn't say where the sauces are or anything as we hadn't been there before. I had a jacket potato which was really nice but the salad that came with it looked abit off so didn't eat it. I will go back and give it another change as they were really busy.
Old, dirty, understaffed, and the staff which is working there are very slow, sleepy and unprofessional. The only good point is the value of drinks that are very cheap. Food it's an offense for everyone's with a normal palate
The beer is always really well kept, the food is as expected. Lost 3 stars due to this weird queue the staff are implicating. We're British, we queue along the bar and the staff come to us, using a mental note of the order in which to serve. Since when do we snake through the pub behind a single pos/till???
