Loxley fitted our beautiful kitchen 3 years ago and we continue to be very pleased with the results. Working together with Andrew we created a design specific to our needs and our desires for features and functionality. He was most helpful enhancing ideas and suggesting slight alterations that we wouldn’t necessarily have considered. Once we were in agreement as to the design and plan, Loxley Design and Build managed extensive coordination between the various suppliers and tradesmen involved, with the result that it all went very smoothly. The results were and continue to be spectacular. They were quick and tidy and were a pleasure to work with.
I thought we could only afford a ‘high street’ kitchen, but fortunately my son persuaded me to go into Andrew’s showroom in Calne, and I now have a beautiful Kessler kitchen, which still thrills me 4 years on! Andrew just loves designing kitchens, he has lots of ideas up his sleeve, and he was the only designer we used who thoughtfully disguised the stub wall left when we extended the kitchen, and suggested we moved a window a couple of inches so that it was central between two cupboards. The units are good quality and are lasting well. Andrew was easy to work with, and happy to come out and discuss ideas. Give Loxley Furniture a try!
Loxley furniture designed and installed a bespoke kitchen in my house in Downton in 2019. I approached two companies for estimates that were in a similar price bracket. The estimate from Loxley was competitive and a good amount of detail was shared in terms of plans etc before I paid the deposit. Andrew’s attention to detail and communication was excellent from the beginning to the end of the project, including follow-up. He has good suggestions regarding the design and styling and an engineer’s approach. The fitters were excellent. I was very pleased with the end result and still am.
Andrew is the best kept secret in Calne! We live in Lansdowne Park and looked at many kitchen design and installation companies before coming across the Loxley showroom. We very quickly realised that Andrew was head and shoulders above the rest. From the initial discussions and planning through to the installation, Andrew has consistently provided exceptional support and solid advice about what works and what doesn’t, garnered from decades of experience. We were building an extension while the kitchen was being planned and Andrew was incredibly supportive in liaising with the other contractors to ensure everything went smoothly. We now have a gorgeous kitchen and would not hesitate in strongly recommending Andrew. Save yourself a lot of time and effort and go and speak to Loxley as your first port of call. If you stop searching for others after that, you’ll be making a wise choice.
It is 16 years since Andrew fitted our newly extended kitchen, and we are still very happy with it. We have recommended him to many people since then, and will continue to do so. He seems to be able to turn his hand to almost anything to do with furniture, as he also designed and fitted cabinets in my snooker room, and designed the furniture in my study to my specifications, completely transforming it as a result. The effusive reviews on his website are gratifying to see, but no surprise at all
I love my kitchen, it just works on every level, beautifully crafted, functional, superb quality and pleasing to look at. Andy was so helpful in making suggestions, he listened to my requirements but also came up with some ideas which I hadn’t thought of which really added to the overall design and functionality. Andy saw the installation through from beginning to end with such an eye to detail that I felt in very safe hands with a beautiful kitchen as the end result . I would throughly recommend Loxley Design.
Very efficient and effective to work with. Andrew was excellent with meeting our requirements and yet being innovative when needs be. We were and still are very pleased with our kitchen and bedroom furniture. We wholeheartedly recommend them.
Our kitchen is fantastic! The quality of the cupboards, fixings and worktops is superb. Andrew is so helpful and has a wealth of design experience. We are so delighted to have chosen this kitchen over other ‘chain’ kitchens - the quality is far superior. Highly recommended.
They were recommended by a firm of architects who have been employed by Prince Charles hence we knew there would be little or no problem with quality or service but did wonder about price. In fact their quotation was by far the most reasonable when comparing like for like. But, happily, it ensued there is no 'like' as they proved to be incomparable. 'Perfection in every way, shape and form' sums it up - and one does not experience these values very often these days - in fact, if at all. Obviously we thoroughly recommend them. You will never do better.
Andrew listened, was creative, with great attention to detail, and delivered. The guys who built it were careful, considerate, hard working and skilled. The work started and finished on time. The price wa good too. We were,and are, very pleased.
