A nice place, feels very local and friendly l. Located In the town center and has large variety of beers to choose from. Once you take a pint you will need to have another one. Try the local beers also. I recommend

Passed this place many times but never fancied it , heard a couple talking about it and decided to give it a go, And I'm glad we did, Dont expect wall to wall luxury but you can expect , a friendly welcome, good beer and some good characters who all seem to know and look after each other but are still friendly to strangers. Landlord is a bloke from Cologne and was helpful choosing my first Ale.We had a few beers but had to leave to be elsewhere but we will be returning. It won't suit everyone but we enjoyed the jukebox entertainment. Thanks for a experience
Lovely pub, nicely placed having walked up the hill you need a break!. Excellent beers, you must try their own range of ales all in excellent condition. Sports on should you want it. Service was great dog friendly.
fantastic, freindly, well informed staff. a veritable pick and mix for real ale fans and a forever changing menu! not just for the ale enthusiast, an amazingly freindly atmosphere, a lovely hidden garden/yard with well kept benches for smokers or anyone else who wants a quiet space and the two sides of the building also create a busy and a quieter side. feels like a safe sort of place, have been popping in for years and hopefully years to come
