I came in to get my asymmetrical bob cut into a one length bob with choppy layers and this is how it went. Had a little discussion about what I wanted, showed her a picture (yes I know some hairdressers hate that because not everyone suits every style) I then got convinced I should try their Olaplex treatment for an extra £5 and considering all the good things I've seen about Olaplex, I was so excited to try it. Anyway, when it came to washing, I didn't feel as though my hair was getting a good scrub. I felt like the shampoo wasn't penetrating every nook and cranny. I was sitting there awaiting my "Olaplex treatment" when I suddenly felt a mist of something and it wasn't water because it had a scent to it. I didn't think much of it at the time, but that was SUPPOSEDLY the treatment, which is meant to be a three step CREAM treatment. Once I was done, I sat down and normally where I'm from we get asked where our parting is and then it gets sectioned off and cut. Once that is done, they blow dry it and straighten any frizz. I wasn't asked where my parting was and my parting was placed way over the other side. The cutting process was the slowest I've ever experienced, almost as if she wasn't confident doing it. The blow drying was just awful. Again, it was SO slow and to be entirely honest, I wouldn't have even called that a blow dry. My hair wasn't even straightened correctly. I still had curly frizz near my roots and there was still so much thickness where it hadn't been straightened. I never got the layers (which I was dying to get) because they have a way of convincing you otherwise and I'm not great with speaking up anyway, so I trusted her and let her do her thing. I admit, I should have mentioned if I wasn't happy with anything, but I didn't want to hurt this girls feelings as she was really nice to talk to. I got to my boyfriends house to style my hair because it hadn't been done properly whilst I was there. I parted it in the MIDDLE and to my surprise I found a long piece of hair which hadn't been cut. I'm so so disappointed. I was in there for nearly an hour and a half. Everywhere else I go, I'm out so quickly. I paid £33 and quite frankly I don't want to leave the house until I can find someone else last minute to fix it. If this girl was a trainee, I should have 1. Been informed and 2. Had a discount - Especially if she wasn't fully trained.

Customer service here is absolutely amasing, Really really friendly environment, felt like I known the staff a lifetime, very homely atmosphere! Will be taking my little minions here from on :D

I have been using the Lounge for the last number of months, always a friendly welcome and Lucinda and her staff are terrific. Once you have been you will not go anywhere else.
