Story

The Long Room was opened in 2007 following the refurbishment of the worn-out Mitre Hotel. We offer 15 hotel rooms and a stylish bar.

We serve food from 12-3pm and 6.30-9.30 from Monday to Friday.
On Saturdays we serve food from 9.30-9pm, and Sunday until 6, with a range of Sunday roasts.

We host a range of live bands playing every Friday at 9pm so come on down and join us for a memorable night - if you are interested in playing please get in touch.

Monday and Wednesday get involved in our Poker nights, and Thursday try your hand at Darts.

We offer a fantastic beer garden in the front and the rear for those sunny days, so pop in for a light refreshment or two.

We also cater for functions, offering a section of the pub to you and your loved ones for free. For more information please contact the pub through either phone or email.

The new manager did a great job in keeping the local loons out. Nice Thai food, great garden. Music could be better.

Absolutely fantastic. Pretty empty so was just what I needed to spread my computers out and show my friends magic trick. David Bowie would have loved it because he could have s quiet drink without being hassled for autographs

Good price? £8.50 for a double vodka!! Go anywhere else and get this for half the price. The orange juice is also watered down. Awful music and not worth the money. Avoid.
