Brilliant act, Timeless. A comedy and singing duo, hysterically funny.
Great place to enjoy bingo and a nice pint while if your kids are old enough can play in the arcade over the street or walk over the bridge to Knightleys Funland.
Toilets clean, plenty of choice of drinks but bit on the dear side, bit disappointed that kids entrainment had stopped outside. Table cleaning staff are prompt so no glasses and rubbish on tables for long. Lots of seating, other staff including door staff friendly and serve fast to avoid build up of queues.
Well firstly, I've been coming to abbeyford every year since I was a kid, never had an issue in the Long bar before. I'd have put a one star if there weren't two other nice members of staff serving. Myself and my little brothers went today around 6:30. The guy, who was cocky, loved himself, making a cocktail for me, showing off, taking his time. I had a bit of a joke, stating next time just throw it in for me mate coke on my long island, I used to manage a cocktail bar and I've managed gastro pubs, so very customer focused. Starts arguing with me that just because I couldn't make them like that in my bar firstly, you used way to much sugar syrup and it should've been a proper sweet and sour mix anyway, which it wasn't. Never seen anyone use a cocktail muddler to make a long island either . His attitude was disgusting, I'd be mortified if any of my staff spoke to guests like that. Good luck in life pal, you'll need it!

Decent pub with good atmosphere near the fair and arcade for the kids, plenty of outside space and an outside bar for the good weather we occasionaly get
This is the place to be in Towyn if you are looking for a relaxing evening out. Everyone was so friendly, chatting to each other. The staff are absolutely fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble. Our granddaughter asked which night they did the bingo games and the lovely young man staff member asked all the customers if they wanted to play and actually put on a game of bingo for us all. He wasn't sure of his 'bingo calling talent', but he did a fabulous job. We also enjoyed the nightly live entertainment. The man who does the 'ska' music is amazing, especially when he sings the 50's/60's songs, what a great voice, so entertaining. We ended up visiting the long bar every night and the welcoming, friendly atmosphere made for 4 or 5 fabulous evenings. We will definitely be patronising here next time we are in the area.
Love it here my fav place on holiday, great atmosphere, fab night entertainment fun stuff for kids to do disco for them food nice
