A great pub with an amazing patio terrace along the river. It's the outside seating that makes this pub a joy on a sunny day. I'm giving it 4 stars because the food was average. The staff are nice and helpful. Overall, if you're nearby on a sunny day, get a spot under the sunshine with a nice drink.
Well how should I start great place for Sunday lunch and place to stop off on a walk along the Thames. Just what was needed today especially the friendly welcome from Kelly who by the end of the visit was a star. Kelly was there for when we needed a drink and when there was a little issue. Kelly sorted things out she was great and helped to put a smile on your face. We had the Chicken Wings to start and Sunday Roast. I will be going back You have to go and say hello and have a few drinks and some food. If you lucky you will bump in to Kelly make sure you say Hello. Well worth a visit and good place to start a walk along the Thames or even end with good food a nice selection of food and drinks to please everyone
Fantastic customer service and well priced drinks. Didn't get to sample the food but the drinks were good. There's free parking when we went Monday evening. Lovely view of the river with late night light reflections. Highly recommend!
Haven't been to this pub in YEARS, not helped by them blocking off the through road to cars in Old Isleworth... But, found myself on foot on the Thames Path around lunchtime and just had to pop in, for old times sake. With its riverbank location, it's a great summer pub, but even on a dreary, rainy Friday in March, it's still very welcoming. Cosy and in good order, great beer selection and friendly, attentive staff. Couldn't resist the steak and kidney pudding with mash to top off this impromptu nostalgia trip. Wasn't disappointed! Very tasty. Well worth a visit, whatever the weather...
The London Apprentice is an iconic pub across the Thames from Kew in the village of Isleworth. If you enjoy a warm afternoon at a Riverside pub, you have to find your way to this pub. It's outside area is substantial and its food tasty. We were glad to find our way back there today. It was a fine way to spend an afternoon.
A bit pricey as most scenic pubs are, dirty - guess that’s a must in a pub, but staff was very friendly, and the space itself is big, a large variety of beers and other drinks, has options if indoors and outdoors seating with the Thames for views and 30 swans if you’re lucky !
I was born and bred in Old Isleworth where the London Apprentice is and I used to swim in the river just outside this is the first time I've been into the pub for a meal I recommend it there's a good selection I personally had the beef and ale pie with triple fried chips and cabbage which I found and really nice the pie was to die for i really recommend it . in side the old pub look is great it has a garden area to cold to use on the day we went there but on the summer it would be lovely so I recommend you give it a try next time you're in the area of old Isleworth
For a quiet evening by the Thames...simply head to this London Apprentice Pub in Isleworth, London's suburb. One has a choice of Beers, bottled or on tap and a fair amount of choices for food. Service is quick and efficient. Overall ambience is great !
Wonderful location overlooking the River. Casual and friendly staff. Good selection of beers and food. I will definitely be back
Good riverside location but this pub is dilapidated and in serious need of a refurbishment. Window frames rotted through. Peeling paint on external patio windows and generally very tatty. Service prompt and friendly and only had drinks on awful patio. Cannot rate food
