We visited for my mother's wake. We were not a large group, but most of us had travelled some distance, so refreshments were welcome. And it was magnificent. Our dietary requirements were catered for and the food was plentiful and high quality. Great price too. I cannot recommend this highly enough.Service: 5/5
We booked The Lockoford Inn for a wake. It was easy to book and arrange. The gentleman who we spoke to was friendly and courteous and on the day of our funeral 16th March we were so thankful for the beautiful buffet we were given. The tea and coffee was a lovely touch. The effort that had obviously gone into the day was appreciated and we were especially impressed by the separate plates for the vegetarians and for my daughter who has coeliacs so cannot eat any gluten. They were such generous portions. The young lady who worked the bar was pleasant, friendly and capable, having no problem dealing with the large drinks orders. Even taking a family photo for us. The venue was perfect for our gathering and even though we had a 2 year old who frequently jogged off, the staff were very considerate and allowed him free run. Thank you for your respect and hard work on our day of mourning. Food & drinks: Excellent value and an extremely high quality.
Me and my partner went for Sunday lunch at the Lockoford Inn and we were both really happy with our visit. They communicated the booking really well and were excellent with allergens. They are an incredibly friendly family business and the food was good value and tasted great. We would definitely recommend!
Couldn't ask for better. Great hospitality. Food arrived quickly, the room I stayed in was very comfortable. These guys really know how to look after their artists. Locals were very friendly too.Rooms: 5/5
Amazing. Had a family party there. Excellent buffet. Extremely helpful with our special requirements. Food was perfect. Lovely bread for the sandwiches. Not pappy cheap stuff. Plenty of choice too. Oodles of food for the number of people we requested Called for Sunday lunch whilst we organised the buffet. Couldn't fault that either. Friendly staff. Well looked after beer. Clean toilets.
Lovely local pub, great food with excellent service. Staff very welcoming and love dogs. It is a dog friendly location. With outdoor seating as well Interesting quizes and bingo that alternate each Sunday with great prizes. Have great bands on at weekend as well as having sports on TV.
What a great place. Traditional local pub, good selection of beers. Had a family funeral wake there recently, the staff were fantastic and so was the buffet food. Would recommend highly this place for maybe just a pint or a party …10/10 Thank you to all the Staff

A busy homely pub with fine traditional carvery, friendly and hospitable staff. I was impressed with the quality of the food, portion size and taste. I felt welcomed and find no pretentious divide. The games room was an additional bonus. The toilet facilities were clean and well stocked. And the quiz night is well supported and patrons are again well fed mid interval to no additional cost.
