The Locke is a great spot to relax with a few drinks lovely atmosphere and a nice place to sit by the river.nnThe food, however, was just okay. For the prices they charge, I expected something a bit more refined.nnI wouldn’t recommend the beef nachos—they tasted off, and the cheese had a sour flavor that was quite unpleasant.nnThe staff are nice, the girl that served us was so nice and happy to help with what ever we wanted.nnThe bar was very busy so it was quite difficult to try get served, no real structure to the queue.
Amazing. This was such a great experience. We went twice during our visit to Ireland and everything we had was excellent. The fish and chips were superb. So was the steak pie. But I’ll be thinking of that sticky toffee pudding until I’m dead. It’s also a classic pub. So it’s exactly the atmosphere you want.
We got off the plane about 3 hours ago. First time to Ireland and this is the place we came to eat after traveling 17 hours. I ordered the Steak and Ale. My wife had the fish tacos and my son had the chicken burger. I didn't try the chicken burger. He inhaled that thing so it must've been good. My dinner was absolutely incredible. The mushy peas were really good, too. One of the best dishes I've ever had. My wife and son even ate some of mine. Her fish tacos were very good as well. Love the atmosphere and very friendly staff. Do not miss this restaurant!
Fish tacos and fries were good. The live music added a great atmosphere and made the evening enjoyable. However, we did have to wait quite a bit to be served. Overall, a solid spot for tasty food and lively Irish music.
