Fantastic find! Delicious food and huge portions : be aware that one plate can easily feed two people, we did a mistake and ordered too much. • Beetroot salad with pear and nuts is awesome, 11 out of 10 • antipasto plate for two is rich, good olives • seafood risotto amazing flavor - shrimps, salmon and fish. I ate here recently with my daughter & my son we were seated outside in the fab weather it was just lovely. The food was great couldn't fault it. We were served on the evening by a really lovely girl Aisling she was so nice and welcoming we will definitely be back. Highly recommend
It was a visit of two halves. The girl who took our order was excellent. Very friendly and good at her job. There was a group in before us and that put everything into panic..... Yet the place was not full. The food was good..... The Anti pasta was excellent, one of the best I have seen and great value. The problem came with everyone saying The Group this, The Group that! - Our mains were served before the starters were finished... But 2 placed on the table anyway. - Then the second waitress came with 2 plates, streaches across and dropped a burger on one guest. It was cleaned up and replaced. - When the bill was presented the Group was blamed and no gesture for the fact that a guest got the meal in her lap. - Eventually a 'manager' came and offered one drink to one person at the table for the inconvenience. Nothing else. Not great customer service pity as the good was OK.
Not the finest food. It almost feels like fast food - the pizza was chewy and felt like it was a frozen pizza just microwaved. The pudding also tasted like it came from a package. I also wanted to drink coffee but by that time I didn't want to take any more chances. The atmosphere however was good it is next to the river and the servers were great. The service was fast as well. I will probably not go there again but it is an OK joint for a tourist place
From the moment I walked in both staff Isabelle and Rebecca were fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. I actually had my 21st here about 12 years ago so the fact it's changed so much was a surprise. It's quirky and has a very warm unique vibe. I had the antipasto which was delicious. If you love Italian food and great staff this is the perfect place to go.
Went with my family and almost all the meals we ordered was way below par. Went without any expectations and ended up with h disappoint. Taste was blunt. I wouldn't want to visit again as it was expensive as well.
Overall a very nice experience. I felt that the bruschetta for two was too small while the other dishes were plentiful. Also a little surprised not to see Italian sparkling water but Ballygowan. That all said the food was very good and the atmosphere ok a table of girls nearby all feeling they had to talk louder than each other took away from the overall experience but that was not the restaurant's fault. Certainly one to return to.
