Fantastic service from the Lock Genie. Would highly recommend. Made the call Tuesday evening and he was at my home first thing Wednesday morning and sorted the issue swiftly. If I ever get anymore lock issues I will definitely be calling the lock genie
Fantastic work from Tony, he managed to remove a broken key from an external lock quickly and efficiently. He even advised of where to go to get a new one cut, even though it was broken. He returned several days later to re-hang the uPVC door with new hinges. Excellent service, I would highly recommend.
Our front door would not open.. utter panic!!! I made the phone call and explained. Seriously, within 20 minutes, he arrived. Introduced himself in a friendly manner. Tony then started to get to work.. Tony explained what the issue was. He completed the job. Fast, friendly, service. Highly recommended.
What can I say…Tony - The Lock Genie - Has been absolutely amazing. Firstly I had a problem with a window in my lounge, he sorted it within minuets. As he was leaving he noticed me struggle with the handle on my front door. He offered advice, ultimately he came back to my property & changed things around for me. All being, I think, very reasonably priced. Thank you Tony

Truly an awful experience - rude, incompetent and unhelpful. I spoke to Tony at Lock Genie, by phone, to enquire about a simple door lock repair and informed him of my location and requirements. He told me he had other jobs on and a medical appointment - and that he didn't know when he could make it that day. I asked him if he could provide a rough time window, and he said he could not which seemed strange, as medical appointments are usually scheduled - but would call me later. I said not to worry and that I would find someone else - and I booked an alternative locksmith. Tony then called saying he couldn't find my house, but didn't identify himself. I directed him to the door, not realising he was NOT the locksmith I booked. He arrived, was immediately rude and had an unpleasant, grumpy manner. He "jimmied" the door open with a paint scraper and brute force, glanced at it and told me it couldn't be fixed without a carpenter and that I would just have to leave the door wedged open with a bit of wood; it is my elderly mother's house, didn't seem like an acceptable resolution to me...!! He said that unless I was prepared to pay extra for some carpentry work, he wasn't able to. Do anything else, and told me that charge was £64 despite being there only moments, and was unable to take card payments - so requested cash or a bank transfer. I was quite shocked, but felt I had no choice but to make the payment. He then stormed off down the garden and left at speed. 5 minutes later the lockmith I had ACTUALLY booked arrived to my great confusion!, fixed the problem within 5 minutes, informed me of the guarantee on his work, and left me a business card with his details for future reference - and requested the details of Lock Genie to ensure he did not recommend them to customers if he was busy. I strongly suggest you steer clear of Lock Genie - it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience from start to finish, and we are now having to go to considerable lengths to recover the money we paid for a frankly shocking service. There are some great locksmiths out there, by Tony at Lock Genie is not one of them. If you want a helpful, reasonably priced locksmith then avoid Lock Genie at all costs. There are nicer, more helpful locksmiths which will cost a fraction of the price lock genie charges and will fix the problem for you - make a SMART locks decision and don't go with lock genie. The only thing accurate about the name is that they disappear in a flash with your money, and some people may feel like they have been tricked... I felt that Lock Genie were very unprofessional and unhelpful, and I will NEVER use them again.
Wonderful service from Tony. My front door mechanism failed. But Tony took it in his stride. Even when the door tried to fight back, Tony just dealt with it and won. Very professional. Would highly recommend. UPDATE !! June 2024. It is now the middle of Summer and since 1994, when this door was fitted, it has warped and been very difficult to close during hot Summer months. I always knew that a hot Summer would be the true test for how this door would behave. I am really pleased to report that 2024 is the first year that this door has worked as it should always have done for the very first time. This is a true testiment to the skills of Tony The Lock Genie. If you want a truely professional job done for a reasonable priice, I would have no hesitation in recommending Tony.
Great customer service. Arrived quickly and was able to fix the problem within the hour. Definitely would recommend.
