We came here on a Sunday morning and, surprisingly, it wasn’t very busy at all. I tried what is probably the restaurant’s best-known dish, the matcha pancakes. The pancakes themselves were very well cooked but I didn’t taste much matcha, it was mainly a white chocolate taste. It was by no means bad, but it wasn’t what I’d had in mind when I ordered. My partner had the grilled chicken sandwich which was nice but a little dry.
One of the best shakshoukas we’ve tried portion needs to be bigger though. Coffee & drinks are good. Juicy burger & we’ve also tried the French toast which was good. Quite popular in the weekends, so you better book in advance. Indoor & outdoor seating makes it easily accessible for wheelchairs & a great hangout on a sunny day.
In a strange location but at the same time, conveniently placed for the local community, hence the name "The Locals Chelsea" name. A little pricey but the service was very good, as was the food delivered to us few hungry people. Funny thing is though, my wife, who loves her salads did comment that there was too much greenery on her plate and not enough of the rest. Although it was tasty. My cheese board was only lacking in one thing... not enough bread. Nice cheese, needed more bread but otherwise tasty.
We had a delightful breakfast experience at The Locals Chelsea. This establishment seamlessly blends the elements of a café, local market, and sit-down restaurant. The Locals Chelsea caters to a variety of needs, whether you're looking for a quick bite, a cup of coffee, or a bottle of wine for an evening at home.Food: 4/5
This restaurant favours quality over quantity. The food was delicious, but if you’ve got a big appetite, you might feel a little unsatisfied—even more so when you see the prices for the modest portions. It appears to be a popular brunch spot, so I’d recommend making a reservation, especially for the weekend. We didn’t realise it was going to be so busy. They did have a table free, though we were informed that we needed to be done in 45 minutes. They took our orders quite swiftly and the food came out with 25 minutes to spare. We don’t tend to linger after our meal, so that worked out fine for us.
We had very good brunch here. The food is delicious. They have gluten free options, so I was very happy with that. The only thing that could be better was the matcha latte. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options
Good food, lots of space so we got a table straight away with a booking. They have seatings outside as well, overall good. The dishes are full healthy and flat bread Parma ham. I had a peek at the English breakfast on the table next to us and it looked even better. Great place and I will come back.Food: 5/5
Favorite breakfast place in London! Green matcha pancakes gluten-free are to DIE for. I always order the Locals Full Healthy breakfast, it never disappoints. The cafe is not crowded during the week but gets super busy over the weekend, so make sure to book ahead. Lovely ambience, very helpful, friendly, cordial staff. They always recognize returning customers. Great place to work during weekdays as well. Stop by if you are in Chelsea/Battersea Power Station and need to grab a bite. The cafe is very residential and not touristy at all. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread available upon request
We had one of the best breakfasts in the city, everything was delicious and made us want to have more!! You should definitely give the rose latte a try if you visit. Also many thanks to Andrea for recommending the best dishes, she was so lovelyFood: 5/5
We had shakshuka, deep fried potato pancake with avocado and ox cheakm Shakshuka was very average and thought it should have been cooked longer to bring out the tomato flavour as it was quite runny. The potato pancake was upsold by the staff working there but it came out pretty small portion for the price especially the meat portion was very very small.
