Wednesday 19th October 2022. 1030am and tried calling over 80 times since 0830 to get an appointment for my 5yr old son who is ill. This is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve worked and paid into the system since I was 16, never claimed a single benefit, now I’m considering paying for private healthcare. The sooner the NHS is privatised the better.
Never had a problem with Lisburn health centre. Always under pressure, but still do a good job. I had an appointment with Dr Mckee today, this man is so professional, and sorted me out with my breathing problems.
This Doctors surgery is honestly the worst! Tried phoning them while standing in the reception and they still all sat there laughing and ignoring the phones. I have tried many times to get a few simple medications and they just sign me up for therapy like this is unreal treatment. Should’ve closed down years ago!
Receptionists are completely incompetent. When asked which practise we wished to register with we specifically requested whoever provided online appointment and prescription managing services several in the building do. Receptionist proceeded to register us with one of the only practises who don't, whose website is a poorly formatted shambles of broken links.
How hard is it to install a call queuing system in 2022 for the love of god. It's not expensive and would make life 100 times easier for your patients. Avoid this practice until they have this resolved.
From covid all these doctors and nhs have become uncaring and great liars. They couldn’t care less about the people and illnesses. Only interested in covid not cancer. This place is a pathetic joke but believe me there's none that are good these days. Hard to believe we stood clapping these people and for what. I dont even bother ringing them anymore after a very serious motorcycle accident. Id rather try to fix myself than these. I stayed in hospitals lots and had over 42 hours surgeries when this so called pandemic was at its worse and seen the exaggerations about covid was ridiculous on the news and in the hospitals. Some day the facts will come out maybe. I cant thanks the surgeons and consultants enough and the nurses who cared for me when in but after care pathetic.
Level 2 droctor Ryan and partners. Receptionists are not helpful what so ever having to tell them your business is a disgrace that is personal for you and your doctor only. Don't know how to handle people with mental health problems would rather make them feel like killing themselves you do what they say then be told a different story patient's are really only the middle man and only want to know what's going on or just wants an appointment to speak with the one doctor not half the practice to just be shoved on telling you there's nothing wrong with you then down the line it comes out you actually got something wrong with you. They don't care at all no empathy no nothing I would stay well clear, unless you want to be told its all in your head!!!!!
Absolutely useless. One Dr in particular McGuiness has no patience/ doctor manners.
Avoid Level 2 Dr Ryans practice like the plague. Dr McGuinness is massively unprofessional and will speak to you with a 'no, you cant have this' attitude. Waited almost four weeks for an appointment for my daughters. Avoid avoid avoid!!!
Only recently started going here. Awful experience already. First time going 2 weeks ago and witnessed multiple doctors at least 10 going into the same tiny doctors room together to have their lunch while there was a full waiting area full on patients. Completely unacceptable while covid is still a very big problem. I then felt very unsafe going to see the doctor with my newborn son after witnessing this. The doctor was also quite rude and very unsympathetic and unprofessional while giving my son his first injections. She had no time for him or me and just looked as though she wanted to get them done and get rid of us, even though my son was screaming and crying. No empathy at all. I also have just had a receptionist speak to me in the most rude manor. Not at all the way anyone should be spoken to. Completely disrespectful atmosphere throughout the surgery. Overall complete disappointment with this GP surgery Dr Ruddell.
