We’ve had a fabulous meal at The Lightship. The setting is unique and beautifully presented. We had the steak as a main which was cooked to perfection and very generous in portion size. The food was delicious and all in all it was a very enjoyable meal and stunning venue for a Saturday night out. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Amazing little restaurant, perfect on a sunny day! The service was friendly and attentive and the cocktails to die for. Fruits de mer is so worth the money too! Could not recommend this more for special occasions or a treat!Food: 5/5

We went on a Saturday evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. All the staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. The food was superb, very well presented and tasted amazing. We enjoyed a few cocktails as-well which also were great. Salted caramel martini was our favourite. Will certainly be going back again for another meal.
Wow what a fantastic place! You absolutely must visit. Amazing views whilst you enjoy your evening. The setting and decor is gorgeous. Incredible food. Incredible service. Incredible attention to detail. Our daughter has multiple allergies, she was catered for without question or issue. Laura looked after us from booking to greeting us on the night.

A fantastic wedding venue, the BBQ steak was amazing and the service was tooFood: 5/5
Disappointing experience given that we were really looking forward to dining here. Service was slow, around an hour wait between starter and main without anyone checking on the table. We needed to ask for what was causing the delay and for drinks as we were not expecting such a long wait. Unfortunately, we felt that the food was not worth the wait, so we didn't stay for dessert. The view and unique setting added to the atmosphere.
Very disappointed by the service, food was nicely done. I appreciate it's the last day before season close, but the restaurant was manned by "kids" who stood behind the bar gassing instead of doing their job. I don't know how it takes 20 minutes to bring some bread and butter to the table even after chasing 3 times, my husband's starter got missed completely the rest of us had finished our starters before his arrived, had to wait ages for cutlery - basically shoddy and not managed. Not helped that we could hear the waiting staff just gossipping and larking around just round the corner. My scallop was lovely and beautifully presented, steak was good and the wine list was varied and interesting. Sadly wouldn't rush to give it a second chance.
