The Ley Inn

About

A pub of character and distinction, in the very best of traditions.

Story

We are a traditional Pub, serving delicious home-cooked food that's freshly prepared by our team of chefs. We also serve a variety of refreshing soft drinks, wines, lagers and cask ales.

BT and SKY sports action can be seen live on our HD televisions, and you can enjoy a game of pool on our two match quality tables.

Ideally situated near Cuerden Valley Park and Nature reserve, we make a great stop off point after a good walk.

In addition, the official National Cycle route is next to us, so you can drop in while you are passing for a spot of lunch or light refreshments..

Large country pub / restaurant. Plenty of room in the bar area, handy if you have a dog with you. Good selection of real ales and the food was good too.

Nice large pub which could be a great place to eat and drink if it wasn't for the appauling customer service and attitude of staff. The food is very good but the wait for it or even for our order to be taken was actually painful. Very badly run which is such a shame as this could be an excellent place to eat and drink.

Fantastic food with nicely presented surroundings. Staff were attentive when needed and polite and pleasant. Seems to get busy even on a weeknight so booking probably recommended. Reasonable selections of drinks with a couple of cask ales on draft. Price is quite expensive for a pub, but I would have no problem returning as the food was so good - chunky chilli 👍 Recently, freezer was broken so no ice cream available, only downside really!
