Fish and chips cooked fresh to order. Really tasty. Would definitely go again

Enjoyed some nice fish and chips from The Lakes chippie, we took them on a short drive to Castlerigg stone circle... The cheese and onion pie was good too.  However, at 6.30 pm they had run out of all the pies except one cheese and onion left.

Only once have I not been satisfied after going here and that was some time back and the only criticism was the portion was quite small. Every other time and I've been a fair few times in the past I've always been satisfied. I'd recommend this place.

After waiting 30 mins standing outside the shop we purchased sausage and chips,  big mistake,  soggy chips full of grease and the sausage was disgusting all went straight into the bin a complete waste of money.   Avoid like the plague.

Great service, excellent food, very good coffee.

Not keen on the chips if I'm honest although my wife enjoyed her fish and chips!
