We had a fantastic two night break at the Kings Arms recently. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much bother at all. They went out of their way on a number of occasions to ensure that we were comfortable. The food was outstanding, the room was clean and comfortable and the whole ambiance was relaxing. We will definitely be returning! Thank you to the whole team for a truly wonderful break.
Went in for Sunday roast, and it was excellent! Kids meals were great. Excellent wine list and good beers on tap. The restaurant itself was cosy and traditional, yet updated sympathetically. Will definitely return! Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu, and lots of space outdoors Parking: Off street parking out back
I met a friend for lunch today and it was fantastic. Gorgeous, good quality, well cooked food, great service and well priced. The building and decor is amazing and it has a lovely cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be back. A wonderful experience Service: 5/5
We stayed in the large cottage as a family for one night after visiting the enchanted Christmas event at Westonbirt arboretum. Only problem we had was discovering someone had left clothes in the washing machine which was leaking. The staff came promptly to sort it so it wasn't a problem. We had lunch and breakfast and it was excellent, good quality and variety. The cottage was warm and comfortable in a quiet village. Thank you for a lovely stay.
We had a amazing time at the Kings Arms celebrating a birthday with 12 guests. Food and drink great, I would recommend the pie. Ro and her team really made the evening they could not have been more welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend. Thanks.Service: 5/5
Stayed the night in a lovely room. Plenty of space and everyone was super helpful. Excellent service for breakfast. A cute little pub that is full of energy and ready to make your stay or sit down meal, one to remember. Kid-friendliness: A cheerful and fun environment.
Fantastic pub with the best staff. So super helpful with my food allergy and serving me a late breakfast due to my work commitments. Many thanks to everyone involved Dietary restrictions: Great choice
Previous visits to King's Arms had been good, but today both service and food were well below acceptable standards. We booked for 7 people at 1pm and were told to be on-time coz they were busy. Arrived 12:50 after slow order process with quite abrupt request for ID to prove 25-year-old's age, starter was then slow. Main course took 1hr 25mins to arrive. Beef bourgenion was just a scoop of mash with red wine gravy, it had to be sent back. Fish n chips were undercooked and overpriced. Portions quite small eg £16.50 for piece of fish with 9 chips. We were still hungry but at 14:45 could not face further wait for desserts. Expensive bill came with automatic 10% service charge added. We complained and bill was reduced.. but would much have preferred good food and service.
Very friendly, cottage-style guesthouse in Cotswolds country, with a nice restaurant offering local cuisine. Best of all, both the hotel and the restaurant were dog-friendly!Food: 5/5
We’ve stayed at the Kings Arms and had both dinner and breakfast - the food is quite good across both meals, the ambience is nice and warm, the team is very friendly - the service is a tad slowRecommended dishesFull English Breakfast, Eggs Benedict, Hamburger
