Great pub, helpful barman brought my drink to my table because I am disabled, I'll be back , EDIT, I've been back again, still just as good if not better   Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible, great disabled toilet

No food was served as the people doing the catering had left, although they have other caterers coming in the near future. The  outside area is not as clean as it should be as there was a lot of cigarette ends on the floor and the bins were not emptied.

Friendly pub, now has new manager and has improved greatly. now starting meals between Wednesday and Sunday. Still a friendly pub  01/07/2020. Had an Angus beefburger with trimmings tonight, was very good ..Still a good pub .... 02/09/2022.  Now no catering but will open shortly ....12/12/2022 Now a Hungry Horse franchise as well. Very good quality,  freshly made. 13/02/2024

Have been going over for an evening meal for last few Fridays. Jackie and Jo are doing a brillant job since they took over the kitchen. The pizza is lovely and I can really recommend the chilli. The home made curries are really tasty. We have tried the Sunday roast and we're definitely going back.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat last week. Large enough pub with plenty of places to sit. Staff were friendly as were the locals. Had chips and scampi in a basket with our drinks. Worth a look.

Friendly staff, great crowd of locals, and good choice of beer at a reasonable price.  Also the new catering company doing food make some brilliant burgers and wings, would highly recommend!

Bog standard pub grab, steak was fine, burger and chicken goujons fine, wife ordered the curry which should have come with poppadoms, it didn't so i had to go back to the bar to ask and was told they were out, fair enough but would have been nice to be told upon ordering rather than after being delivered. Clearly knew we were holiday makers and didn't care!

The cooking of the food was really poor. Actual food was typically expected frozen pub food. Unfortunately the cook was hopefully inexperienced, considering the quality of the cooking. Just one example, my 'sizzler' was on a luke warm skillet with almost raw onions..... Burger was only just cooked, and medium rare steak was well done. We won't be returning which us a shame as is a convenient location for us

Told didnt need to book for table of 10 , said come in and there will be availability,  turn up to no tables , no food. Avoid trying to eat here. Very bad customer service.
