I never thought I would ever go to The Ivy but I’m glad I did as I really enjoyed having my lunch in a lovely place.nnThe food was delicious, drinks were good, and dessert was heavenly.nnThe service was extremely friendly and warm, wasn’t rushing us to make a decision.nWe spent £96 between two which was very reasonable.
Highly recommend for a nice meal and overall pleasant experience. Staff were polite, friendly, thoughtful and accomodating, noting allergies. I went for my birthday with my family on a Saturday night. Food was tasty, portions were great and the environment was buzzing, all wrapped up in an attentive and efficient service given it was a typically busy Saturday evening. Ordered a steak medium-rare and it was cooked perfectly. Vegan and vegetarian menu available too on request. Exceptional, a treat and definitely worth visiting The Ivy in Richmond if you can afford it.
My husband and I celebrated out wedding anniversay with 3 boys at the ivy. The food was superb and we had some lovely new tastes we experienced. Our waiter Petros was amazing and friendly and gave us a wonderful experience and even got us a lovely profiterole with a chocolate happy anniversary on it. The coffee and hot chocolate was a lovely delicious end to the mail. Thanks.
Little that I cannot say about this place that gives it less than 5 stars. Absolutely loved every bit of our experience here. Food was top notch, my steak was cooked perfectly, the blackened cod was tender and juicy, and the lamb bolognese pasta for my child was delicious. Great cocktails too, my only wish was for more time to try out other cocktails. For dessert, we had the chocolate bombe which I think the three of us licked the plate clean. Will definitely be back, as our 4 year old was super happy with the food. Only recommendation would be to provide some kids activity such as coloring pads etc.
A favourite venue to visit before a rugby match at Twickenham. Our group enjoyed the various dishes with the only negatives being the dry burger and overly salted fries. Overall, another good visit and we shall return.
