We had a pleasant dining experience. Went in for lunch on St.Stephen's Day and it was indeed very busy. The front office were quick to check our reservation and COVID vaccine certificate, post which we were ushered to our seating. The restaurant was aesthetically appealing, spacious and can accommodate quite a lot of people. For an efficient service, there were many staffs on duty to attend the large inflow of people. All the Food items we had were good, served fresh and hot. The staffs who attended us were kind and professional. The restrooms were maintained to impeccable standards. For someone expecting a quiet dining experience, this may not be your place especially during peak hours. Also there was a Service Charge of 12.5% with the bill.
The Ivy in Dublin is a beautiful and elegant restaurant located in the heart of the city. The moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The decor is stylish and sophisticated, with plush seating and elegant lighting. The menu at The Ivy offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including contemporary European cuisine with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I had the pleasure of trying their duck salad, which was cooked to perfection and served with fresh vegetables. The steak and fish dishes were also delicious. The sides and appetizers were also well presented and tasty. The service at The Ivy is top-notch. The waitstaff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, The Ivy in Dublin is a fantastic restaurant with great atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommend visiting for a special occasion or a night out with friends.
The service is great! The most attentive team working there. Prices are also fair. I had the burger & it had a very satisfying bite to it. Taste great too! The ambiance & deco is catered for, & very nice for outgoing personality types. It can get very busy and noisy due to the popularity!
Loved the location very quick and easy to get to. Walked in off the street for lunch and had zero wait. Staff was very friendly and ambiance was excellent. Music trendy and at an appropriate volume. Food was the fish and chips. As well as the eggs Benedict with truffle chips. Was cooked excellent and came quickly. Would come back again for sure.
The cocktails were good but the food preparation wins hands down for me. The halloumi grill is the most flavourful and tasty dish I ever tasted in Dublin in years. Very busy tables but the staff were highly attentive. Fair play to the team.
Relaxed ambience for breakfast, the menu have plenty of good and healthy options. I ordered a detox green juice, with poached eggs with avocado and salmon on top of the best homemade brown bread I ever had. To drink I ordered hot chocolate, and that was really creamy and came with cute and tasty pastries. The Ivy is my favorite place for breakfast.
Loved the ambience, up in Dublin for a special occasion & wanted somewhere special. The attention to detail on service was A1. Definitely felt worth the price for the experience. 12.5% service automatically added to bill in our case 3 people was justified but don't agree with this as a rule. Soups & Prawn Cocktail for starters, Fish & Chicken dishes mains, Melting Chocolate Bomb was divine.
I don’t even know where to begin. Absolutely perfect in every aspect: the staff is nice, helpful and polite. The atmosphere is very warm, lots of plants, good music and comfortable seats. Drinks were amazing, there is one with pepper and pineapple juice that was the best that I’ve ever had. Food was also a nice surprise but without a doubt the highlights were the salad with crisp duck and the creme brûlée for desert. I loved it and would definitely recommend!
Great decor as always with the Ivy, but it felt more like a kid friendly family place than anything else. Staff was super kind. Food was bland unfortunately, every dish was one disappointment after the other as they were all quite flavorless. There are so many great brunch places in Dublin so we will not be going back here.
Waiting staff are very good. Food is nicely presented and tastes very good. Wasn’t that keen on our table right at the rear. Early booking but no suggestion of where one would like to sit even if there’s tables for 2 people empty everywhere
