I happened upon this restaurant quite by accident last night and so pleased I did. The menu was robust and perfectly pitched for a rainy cold Dublin night. I couldn’t choose, wanting everything on it. The service was convivial and warming, and the wine list extensive and well balanced. We dined on smoked salmon which was just beautiful, and my guest had the herring which he reported as splendid not a flake left then onto the chicken Milanese and Chicken and mushroom risotto. Both were lovely. The atmosphere is sultry and cosy; this place could be off any street in Paris. A truly delightful find, and one well worth the journey. I recommend this restaurant highly.
Food was fine, terrible service. I was waiting for my order to find out 20min later then they forgot about it and I have to make it again. Waited for my friend to join me and asked in advance about that to double check that they were not fully booked and we can keep the table but was literally forced to leave the place 20min after that - because were not listening to me in a first place when I asked about that… That’s not the way how you treat customers ‍
Had a wonderful meal here, beautifully cooked and seasoned lamb chops, beef stroganoff and solyanka soup, as well as some delicious wine. The staff were welcoming and warm, and the restaurant has a great cozy atmosphere. A lovely spot for some wine and a nibble or a full meal, would definitely recommend for anyone looking to chat over beautiful food and drink in Dublin.
A fantastic evening in a beautiful sunny spot outside. The food was delicious and the wine lovely. But most of all friendly helpful staff . We have been before last year and will return again I’m sure. A special spot in the heart of Dublin .

Great place for food and wine, amazing selection. It was if I was back in Paris with delicious cheese and meats platter. My advice would be to book in advance on the weekend, even of you want to have a few glasses of wine and a cheese board. Unfortunately they had to turn people away as the place was booked for food!
Such a lovely place: really great choice of wines, including vegan wines. As for the dishes: there are a few From Russian cuisine. Bar is elegant and cozy. Loved it here.
Cosy place with a very good selection of wines, what is a quite suprised in Dublin. A very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Lovely meal here on July 13. Wonderful wine and charcuterie board. The manager and wait staff could not have been any more accommodating. A definite must if staying in city centre and if you love wine.
