The IPS has 6 physio clinics across South Wales. All of our clinics are conveniently located and have free parking. Our physiotherapists are experienced in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries/ conditions and sports injuries. All of our physios are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) which guarantees you the highest standard of professionalism and care. We use a variety of treatment techniques including cortisone injection, acupuncture, ultrasound, spinal manipulation, massage, exercise advice, taping, trigger point release therapy, interferential therapy, electrotherapy and ergonomic advice. We offer evening appointments and accept card payments.

I come here for a second opinion in june/july as i was having problems with my achillies. I seen mark and after evaluation was told that the reason my achillies ended up tge way they were is because i was tight all over my legs so i had to stretch all the muscles in my legs to help my achillies..i was told to stretch my glutes and was shown how to do the stretch which involved me putting my right leg over my left knee and pushing down on my right knee to stretch my glutes. Anyway after doing this stretch on both legs my knees were in absolute agony and have been since to this day..i havent been able to sleep..work..exercise..bend down..walk for long periods..its really effected my life. Ive put on weight and become severly deppressed and im now in a position where i have to pay to get both achillies and knees mri to know exactly whats going on..this is going to cost me £715 which for somone who isnt in work is hard to find which has meant ive had to sell personal items to afford it. I would have been allot better off saving the money i payd for this physio treatment atleast then i wouldnt have this knee problem ive been battling with for months. I just hope this doesn't become something i have to live with for the rest of my life as at the age of 23 its difficult!

I was suffering with tennis elbow for months with limited movement and constant pain but I had a cortisone injection and within a week or so I am now pain free with full movement, thank you

Had a session with Gareth yesterday for my very painful De Quervains Tenosynovosis in my right hand, had a steroid injection and am feeling the benefits already. I was so anxious about the condition and its disabling effects due to the pain and restriction in my thumb. Gareth was a lot more knowledgable and his advice was much more helpful and made a lot more sense than that previously given by another Physiotherapist in the NHS. I would highly recommend Gareth and IPS, I was seen so quickly and could never have waited for the NHS treatment. I found the consultation fees and treatment fees very reasonable.

Very pleased to have an appointment that suited me, the patient!  Gareth Tremain not only gave me a relatively pain free cortisone injection in my knee but also took time to explain fully the process and expected benefits.  I will be returning for future treatment rather than waiting months to even get an appointment with my GP practice steroid clinic.  Shame on you NHS - thank goodness for a professional, speedy and trusty alternative provider.
